Gotten to-go a few times… loved the food and service each time. The location and area makes it insane around lunchtime so prepare for that. Staff is so polite and friendly. Veggie hot sandwiches AMAZING also love to build my own salad. Beware of the fresh cookies, you will get them every time!!!

This is the last Roly Poly remaining in Alabama and so a treasure for the Birmingham area! We love all of their rolled sandwiches and the yummy seasonal soups they offer! The owner/manager is very friendly and focused on his customers which makes it even more of a special place.

I usually order for pickup and it is always ready on time. Wraps always have fresh ingredients and taste great. Everyone that works there has always been nice too. I usually get the chicken Cobb wrap but all I’ve tried have been tasty.

I have been looking for a unique sandwich place since moving here and this didn’t miss. The soup and sandwiches were delicious.

I want to say WOW. I used to have a roly poly near me in Tuscaloosa so I made an effort to stop here on my way To my wife’s fathers funeral. A very sad time. I’m also a disabled veteran who suffers from various depressive issues. I say this because the management noticed I was down and talked to me. Sam made me feel like a family member. I told him I had been trying to figure out how to make my favorite sandwich at home because there’s no Roly poly near me and I could never find the right mango chutney for the sandwich. He brought my order out and handed me a jar of the chutney they use. I broke down in my car. I have been trying to stay strong for my wife but that act of kindness and taking a moment to treat me like family changed my entire day. This was 18 hours into a drive. Thank you Sam. You can never know how much your kindness helped my family heal. It’s silly but there’s so much bad in the world when someone treats you well for nothing in return….it makes a huge difference. I will stop here every time I’m able. This store is in great hands.

Favorite of favorites! This, to my knowledge, is the only remaining Roly Poly in Alabama. It’s a must-stop whenever we pass through Birmingham!

I must say when it comes to a good sandwich it’s all about the bread. First time here I had the southwestern roll it was the bomb. I really hope everyone supports this local business because it’s a good one. It’s hard to find a really good sandwich and I found the place thank you

It had been a while since I ate at a Roly Poly and never at the one in homewood but I must say: they are still the. Best made sandwiches out there. Try the #12 you won’t be disappointed.
