This is an old school Italian restaurant that specializes in pizza. They don’t serve gluten free crust so I couldn’t partake. I had sole fish instead while coworkers ate pizza. The restaurant was packed when we went. They serve pasta, but other non pasta dishes like seafood. Overall very good

I got the chicken franchise It was not that great, but I’ve had worse in my life. Other people in my party got pastas and heroes. They said the same thing it’s not the best and it’s not the worst, overall I would not go here again.

Very family friendly restaurant although they have a separate bar area too. The cavatelli and salmon were good. As was the roasted red pepper salad. I definitely want to go back to try the pizza since everyone seemed to be having that

I’ve had many different pizzas in Westchester including Frank PePes, Johnnys and Flames and this one is by far the best one. I don’t know how many slices I ate that night because I lost count after 4…. Highly recommend.

First time here. We must have driven by it the hundred times. Caprese salad was excellent, the pizza (eggplant and pepper s) was very good crispy and light. We were treated very well. We will be coming back.

Roma! Roma! What a wonderful family owned Italian Eatery! We’ve been here twice- first time on our own and the second with nine year old son. First time we went for a nice walk along the lake at Twin Lakes Park in Eastchester, NY and wanted to find a place to eat. Our criteria: someplace close-by, not too expensive yet with good food. A search on Four Square and we decided on Roma. Absolute best choice by a landslide! Exceeded our criteria and has become our favorite eatery when we’re in the area. They’re very close. The place has been owned and operated by generations of the same family dating back to the late thirties! Tell me- how often can a restaurant even boast about such an achievement these days? The interior is fairly large with a full service cocktail lounge near the front. And…shouldn’t a respectable Italian place be playing “Ol’ Blue Eyes” to just set the right ambiance? Well, if you’re answer is “Yes”, and it should be, then that’s another initial reason to like this place before even sitting down. If you don’t know who “Ol’ Blue Eyes” is then shame on you! Go add some class credo points and create a playlist of his music, or several. And, by the way that’s coming from a guy who grew up on 80’s-90’s music. First obvious clue to this being a good place is there are a lot of locals frequenting it – and different generations; families with children, younger and older couples as well as large groups celebrating someone, something or other. All good initial signs. Tables are far enough apart with several lining the windows and the lighting is just dim enough to create an individual sense of space at each table. Our server was a sweet helpful woman – friendly, funny, courteous, helpful and prompt. Great! You’re brought a basket of nicely warmed crusty Italian bread – and, as my son said from watching Disney’s “Ratatouille” – “Papa, I k now is going to be good because it has the right type of crunch sound when you break a piece off.” Smart boy; he’s right. And, of course butter to go with it. BTW, don’t be shy about asking for another basket because this is also the type of restaurant with the right answer to that “oh, sure, of course- right away.” None of that sniffy slight sneer look down your server’s nose at you as if you’re an uncouth barbarian. They have whatever you’re inclined to drink- different wines, beers or something from the bar. Moderately priced- so go ahead. BTW, at this point you’ll also notice that the servers have all worked here for sometime- another good sign. And they’re all friendly with one another and seem to know the guests by first name. Who doesn’t like any of that? You feel…that they feel…they like the place and like working there. Well, those are all signs that you’re going to have a good experience here; and you certainly will. They have a full Italian menu and if you just want pizza? Boy…do they HAVE pizza! Collectively, over two visits, we’ve had the following: specialty salad, chicken cacciatore, eggplant parm., a fish entree, different wines, homemade chicken soup, baked ziti and meatballs and, oh; apple juice for my little man. Entrees are large, enough so that almost everyone is seen leaving with a bag-to-go. You will leave Roma’s very sated and very pleased by the food’s amount and flavor. This is a mainstay classic neighborhood eatery with only the positive associations to that moniker. Go here, you’ll thank me I assure you. Bring your children, they’ll like it too. Because there are few places like this in today’s highly combustible cut-throat competitive make or break restaurant culture. We need a place that makes you feel GOOD…in your spirit, in your stomach and yes, in your wallet. Remember I said it’s family owned? For generations? Well, pssst., a little gem of a truth- their secret weapon towards making you feel at home and realizing you just ate at your next go to favorite place? One word; “Filly.” Who? What? “Filly”, like the cream cheese, she’ll be the first to say is one half of the Dynamic Duo couple who run and own the restaurant! Sadly I’ve run out of space!

Fantastic old school, Italian restaurant. Family owned since 1931. Check it and out ask for “Philly.” She will take great care of you. Right down the street from my house so I will be visiting often. Definitely get the baked clams.
