The new owners have really livened the place up. We liked some dishes that the old owners had on the menu and they had no problems making it for us when we asked. They also seem to run a tighter ship – meaning they don’t let the wait staff sit in the corner with their girlfriend/boyfriend while customers are waiting for service.

So I ordered the joes combo off the waitr app… it was HORRIBLE!!!! The lasagna meat had no flavor, the pink sauce is all grease, the filling in the manicotti tasted spoiled, and this is NOT $15 worth of food!!!! I will NEVER order from here again!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!

Great lunch portion including salad. Not too much or too little. The staff is amazing. Our waitress was very kind and everything came out hot and fresh. They even offered to get us complimentary rolls to go. They don’t have wine yet but you can bring your own bottle. All around excellent service and food. New owners are great.

I have eaten at Romano’s since the new owners came to be there. I was always satisfied with the amount of food the waitress staff and the cooking. The food is excellent there. However I ate their night before last I had the cannelloni which was quite dry and hardly any sauce on it. My son had the chicken alfredo the chicken was overdone and there were hardly any noodles there half as much as normal. Don’t get me wrong I would eat there again however I think it’s important that you know that the quality of food is suffering. I also had a piece of tiramisu to go and when I got home the piece was only about an inch and a half Square way too small for what I paid for it however it was delicious. The staff was a group of like 7-9 teenage girls who were constantly running around talking, which was great because they made a lot of noise so my wife and I couldn’t really talk like we had wanted. The food was so good. I’m glad they went with Chef Boyardee for their recipe. When we left, we were so glad that they counted the cheese as our free topping, so we had to pay extra for the pepperoni! Definitely going back here when I want this experience again. The place was empty, I still don’t understand why.

Romano’s in Bridge City has new owners and thank goodness they do!!!! I almost stopped going completely until I showed up one last time to try to order and meet the new owners of the restaurant. They are local brother that have turned that restaurant completely around. Friendly getting, friendly service and AWESOME FOOD!!!!

Our dinner and our waitress we’re both awesome. For appetizer we had the delicious cheese sticks and spicy oil with our fresh bread. Husband had the Calzone, he enjoyed it. I had the Minestrone soup with a side salad, they were both delicious. The owner brought us a delicious dessert. Servings are really good size, we brought home enough food for lunch the next day. We will visit again and we look forward to the Romano’s they will be opening in Jasper.

This food is good, but needs improvment. After eating there off and on for 6 years. I think its safe to say i have an educated opinion. The food tastes good, but please stop freezing it and heating it in the to go contianers. The food gets burnt to the bottom of the container and sticks to it. Besides that, great flavor, great sauces, great service.
