We were recommended this restaurant as we are from out of town. We were seated immediately, greeted by several staff, the food and service was wonderful. We really enjoyed our experience.

Perfect place for a rainy day warm Italian meal. I swear every time it rains I have to go because it warms your soul. The salads are incredibly crisp and delicious every time. The pasta is always exceptional. The service is fantastic. Very thankful to have a wonderful establishment like this in our town. They always serve the most delicious bread. The kitchen certainly knows what it’s doing

This Italian restaurant is quaint with a homey atmosphere and great service! The steak seemed a bit under seasoned, but the penny with tomato sauce was great! The bread was nice, but small portions. The most amazing part, which is the best around was the thin, homemade fettuccine. The Alfredo sauce was light and the noodles were almost velvety, they were so paper-thin. All meals are large and room for leftovers. Only the lack of seasoning, and the strange restroom stall that is not large enough to stand in and close the stall door, these were only items that kept this from a 5.

This was our first time to Rome Restaurant and it was amazing! The food is delicious and authentic to the Italian dishes that we grew up with. I ordered the homemade spaghetti with a meatball. So good! My sister ordered ravioli with meatball and she totally enjoyed it. Both dishes came with salad and the best Italian bread ever. We shared a slice of homemade tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent. Portions are great, service is wonderful and the atmosphere is so cozy. I can’t say enough good things about Rome and also can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended! The pic was taken from our table just after a storm when I was trying to get the rainbow.

I Have been eating The Rome chicken parm for 25+ years and it’s the best around! The food is top notch and the atmosphere is very family friendly! Great place for meeting with old friends for a drink and a catch up. I will continue to chose The Rome when going out to dinner as it never disappoints.

Being from Franklin the Rome has been around for ages! And I have to say they’re doing a really good job keeping up with things. They certainly have changed and many of us that have been going there since we were babies talk about it. But the bottom line is they make really good Italian food!

The food is really good. It’s a cute Italian family style place. It’s clean and comfy. I highly recommend the garlic bread with cheese. The price is right and the portions are perfect. Two members of our group got the chicken parm and said it was great. Kelly was our server and she was amazing, attentive, and super nice.

Great homemade food. I had wings and a small antipasto salad that was large enough for two. Kids had Fettucini and ravioli. Service with a smile, delicious food and large portions. Well done.

Not the best experience culinary wise. The owner Beth was amazing and clearly passionate. She offered to comp the meal, not what we were after, we left more than the check and hoping the passion comes back for the chefs. Very disappointing for us and for the lovely owner. Thank you Beth for being so kind and our lovely servers.
