Some of the worst pizza you’ll get in Wake Forest. First time ordering from Romeo’s and truly a waste of a family pizza night. We ordered a chicken pizza and a small cheese pizza. Both pizzas tasted very similar to school cafeteria pizza and the dough tasted like it had been processed off-site or worse, previously frozen. The more I think about it, a DiGiorno’s Pizza from the grocery store would have been better. And the way it was cut was surprising. A large pizza had over 30 small square slices. I wanted a traditional slize but instead, I had a small square that only reinforced the high school cafeteria feel. Don’t waste your pizza night.

Wanted to try Romero’s based on a review that said it was like “school cafeteria pizza”. I, for one, loved my school’s pizza and was feeling a bit nostalgic for it. It definitely was not the same but a decent pizza for the most part. Our over all reason for the 3 stars was based on the sauce being too sweet(tasted more like pasta sauce than pizza sauce) and the fact that the dough was a little gooey as if the pizza wasn’t baked all the way(which we remedied ourselves by popping it in the oven for a few more minutes). They deliver in our area so that was a plus! Will probably give them a second try.

Nothing was correct about this pizza. The crust was over cooked, the sauce is overly sweet and above all our ingredients selection was never followed although the store allows the option to request a half and half pizza on door dash. I guess I should have believed the other reviewers.

First time trying Romeo’s Pizza. The pepperoni pizza was fairly bland, not much taste to it. The Philly Steak was okay, but have had way better at other places. What they called Chicken Wings on the menu, turned out to be chicken nuggets, similar to what you would expect to see at McDonalds. Picture on their menu looked good, but looked nothing like it. Thought we would give it a try, so for us it was one and done. Since this review, the owner Todd has reached out to me and has extended an instore credit. I appreciate him reaching out and will therefore try Romeo’s Pizza again.

Marinara sauce is best, regular is pretty sweet. Very good pizza, nice shopping strip, good service. A little pricey imho but it beats the big chains so is probably worth it.

The thin crust pepperoni pizza tastes very similar to Papa Johns before they’ve made changes. The regular crust deluxe has a bit more flavor in the sausage but very similar to other chains nothing special. Only standout was the sweet chili boneless wings. Before coupon, the cost was just too high for a so-so product.

I ordered several pizzas for a military retirement last weekend. The man on the phone was so nice and accommodating and even gave me a huge discount to support the retiree for his 20 years of service. The pizza was delivered to Brookfield’s indoor golf on time and was delicious! This is definitely going to be my new go-to pizzeria.
