Fabulous. Second time here tonight. Pure server, she remembered our entire visit. I can’t say enough positive things about this place.

This is a local gem with great sushi. I drive from Westchester twice per week to drop my daughter for soccer training with her club team and spend my down time at Ronin for a great meal every time. The owner is very personable and attentive and provides excellent service. The sushi is excellent and the presentation is a bonus. I look forward to every visit!

Peaceful surroundings, friendly and attentive staff. Most importantly the food is of great quality and the flavors are always amazing. Highly recommend trying the grilled squid appetizer to start. Don’t forget about the sake! Though if that isn’t your thing they do offer a variety of wines and a few beers. Hope they stay in Marlboro for a long time.

Fantastic selection of authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi (prepared well, thin and tender fish) as well as some fun americanized rolls with various sauces and fillings. The prices are really good for such great quality. This is a hidden gem worth visiting regularly.

Fantastic! I love the food here. The sushi & maki are super fresh and delicious. This is a new restaurant in town for us and we’re glad to see a new place. Now we have a sushi place that has that same high quality that we’d gotten used to. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant decor is nicer than the average sushi place.

I have been to the Hidden Cellar many times and would say this is my favorite restaurant. The service is ALWAYS great they don’t hang over you while your eating and the food always comes out in a timely fashion. They give you a couple of minutes after you’ve eaten your salad before they bring out your entree. The food is very fresh and delicious. I have recommended this restaurant to several people and they all love it too. It’s a very nice dinner for 2 place when you leave the kids home for a night or a good couples night out. It’s not loud and you can carry on a conversation and not have to shout across the table. A real go and try place you’ll love it.

This was the most BORING sushi I have ever eaten. Flavorless. I ordered a variety of different rolls as well. I can’t speak for the other dishes as I haven’t tried, But I won’t be back to either. I guess its better than gas station sushi (gross) but not even close to good. Just bla.

I’ve eaten a lot of sushi and this place rates right in the middle. It’s what I consider “standard sushi” because it’s better than random gas station or supermarket sushi and not as good as a “proper” place in NYC. The tuna was a weird texture. However, the prices were pretty good. The main thing that stands out is that the sashimi slices were HUGE. They looked more like tiny steaks than the sashimi. This could be as much about my experience with sashimi than anything; when I Googled images of sashimi, it looked pretty big. Anyway, this area isn’t really known for sushi, so give this place a shot.

Ordered ahead, was told 30 minutes, arrived after 30 minutes and had to wait another 30 with 3 starving kids. All rolls were squeezed into the same boxes, 1 lump of wasabi for 15 rolls, one lump of ginger. Rolls were no where near the quality of other local restaurants, huge amount of panko to cut the spicy rolls (salmon, yellowtail). General cost cutting and poor service.
