Let me start off by saying the service was great but the food and atmosphere left much to be desired. The restaurant is beautiful and exactly what you would expect of Lowry. I sat at the bar where the TV was repeatedly playing scenic clips of Capri instead of something more interesting. I ordered the Mukozoke served with hamachi and Scottish salmon ($20), Belly Flight-Nigiri ($22), Chutoro ($10), Otoro ($12), and San Kinoko Ramen ($24, mushroom broth with 3 kinds of mushrooms). The thickness of the fish for the Belly Flight, Chutoro, and Otoro, while tasty, were thin and the portion size was small. The sushi rice was a bit undercooked and flavorless. The ramen broth tasted like burnt mushrooms which made the entire dish very difficult to eat. The bartender noticed I didn’t eat the ramen and offered to take it off my tab, which I greatly appreciated. The only dish that saved dinner was the Mukozuke. The portion size and thickness of the fish were nice and the flavors were excellent. I was really hoping for a better experience with their current rating.

Food was okay. Service good. Nice place. Did not feel the value though for what it was. This review should not reflect the workers. This review is more so about this Automatic tipping that is becoming more popular for restaurants. I was going to tip you $25 for the waitress as she did a good job. Large party? It was my Wife and i…. tips are optional in this country.. and Automatic tips is a one way ticket for me to never go back ever again. Hopefully corrections are made.

A little pricey but it’s well worth it. Such good sushi! I’ve done dine-in and takeout and loved it. They always seem to be really busy and it’s for a good reason. I really love the ambiance inside and despite the busy, it feels relaxed. If you’re looking to try a new sushi place, here’s your sign!

Unique menu, good quality, but incorrect price point. Get ready to pay Michelin Star prices for above average sushi. If money is no object, come, have a good time. If it is, maybe try this one for a special occasion, but this isn’t a casual weeknight dinner spot and I can’t say it’s worth the bill.

The guy that sat us was very snooty. He had to assist the waitress a couple times, and acted like he was being put out.

Good service and good food. I had house hot sake for $10, bluefin tuna flight for $32 (very small), and tonkotsu ramen $22. My bill was $70 + 20 percent tips. I was full but it was quite expensive. I might be back just because it’s close to my house.

Good food, fantastic service. Definitely on the pricey side (we over ordered sushi because we got excited, but it ended up being almost $150 for two with tip). Good atmosphere though — interior is well decorated and not too loud. Service was REALLY good. Hostess with fun-colored hair was incredibly attentive with water and removing plates. Our waiter (Tait I believe) was equally attentive, very friendly and enthusiastic, and helped us with any questions we had. Food was very fresh and tasty (caterpillar roll was fantastic) and plated well. Highly recommend if you have some extra cash to spend on a quality night out!
