Not the entertaining hibachi that I am accustomed to, the chef comes out and cooked, serves says thank you, and leaves ♀️ the hibachi food was bland. The sushi was excellent and our server David was very knowledgeable about the menu and very kind and our glasses never went empty. They do give a heaping amount of food, more than I could eat in one sitting.

Went on a Sunday night. Ronin was understaffed and severely lacking on the basics. Had to ask for soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi which isn’t the biggest deal. When the wasabi came out, it was hard as a rock on the bottom and pretty obviously either out of date or stored incorrectly.

Had Ronin for the 1st time visiting my son at La Tech. I was very impressed! I love the $11 lunch special, & the Cougar roll is my fav! Quiet & relaxing setting. Lots of sushi on the menu, & other great dishes.

Blah. The hibachi grill is closed so all the food is cooked in the kitchen. Prior to ordering I asked the waitress if the dinners (combo) are the same, she said yes. We asked for chicken fried rice she told us we are unable to get chicken fried rice with the dinner, odd but ok. The order arrives and my plate is full of liquid. I bring it her attention she says its because of the vegetables. Thats not an excuse, clearly they needed to be drained if there was that much water. The rice is soggy. The shrimp is cold. Everything has one flavor, bland. We asked for a side of garlic butter and she told us that because the hibachi is closed they don’t have any garlic butter. So when we were told the dinners were the same as the hibachi that was a lie. I couldn’t even eat 1/4 of the food, it was terrible. I’m so disappointed after reading so many good reviews. My husband’s plate was not full of water so that was nice but he also thought his food was bland. We will not be back.

No bad, but not great. Hibachi food was as good as and hibachi style cooking. The sushi was just so so. The sashimi was cut way to thick and didn’t taste fresh. I could only eat a couple of pieces. Would go back for the hibachi but definitely never try the sushi or sashimi again.

This place was very clean and the service was good, but the sushi was not. The food had little to no flavor, and the nori was ‘stale’ and chewy. When I complained about the food, the server didn’t say anything, she just brought me the check.

I absolutely love this place! It has strange hours, possibly due to small staffing which I get, but when you figure them out and get to go it is amazing imo. People are nice, it’s always clean when I go, and the food is amazing. It can get very pricey really quick, but as a treat every few months I think it’s worth it!
