I was in Tomball for a doctor’s appointment and had about 45 minutes to kill. It was close to lunchtime and I had a hankering for a burger, so I used Google Maps to see how Google rated the area burger places (I trust, Google ratings and heavily contribute to them). I saw that this establishment had the highest rating around Tomball for burgers, so I just had to try it. My server was very sweet and helpful young lady. Since I love chili cheeseburgers, but find that most places don’t put much chili on them, I inquired about this. She informed me that the chili cheeseburger came smothered in chili. She wasn’t exaggerating at all! I liked the chili so much that I bought a quart of it to take home. I usually stop for pizza when I’m in Tomball, but this place is going to be one of my regular stops when I’m in the area from now on!

On a recent trip to Houston I had a craving for a burger and decided to give Ron’s Hamburgers and Chili a try. I was glad I did. I ordered a cheeseburger with chili and was not expecting it “bathed” in chili, but still it was very tasty. Just a little bit messy to eat! Also, ordered Spanish fries, which I don’t think I’ve ever had before. It was basically french fries served with fried jalapeños and “unbreaded” rings of onion. The burger was quite good, the Spanish fries were excellent!

Tried Ron’s for the first time today. I got a small bacon cheeseburger and it was so good. Husband got the Ron’s special burger with Spanish fries. I also had a order of fried okra. My only complaints is the fries and okra were too greasy and soggy, May have been because we got it to go ‍♀️.

I have never had Ron’s Burger’s, so I thought I would try. I order a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, onions, and pickles and French fries. My burger was suppose to be medium well and didn’t have any lettuce. As you can see the meat is not cooked to that specification. The fries tasted like they had been sitting for awhile. Some people may like it, but my daughter and I thought it was not good. Tried to eat it, but just couldn’t. Y’all may like it, but we didn’t.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I had the small bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. I was expecting actual strips of bacon not glorified bacon bits. Also the cheese on the chili cheese fries wasn’t melted. So, we finished our food and went to 5 below in the same parking lot and I literally threw up my whole meal in the parking lot. My guess is either the beef or cheese was bad. So, I definitely wont be going back.

It’s a good little hometown restaurant. They have good chilli, hamburgers, okra, onion rings. Everything I have had there has been good. Staff is friendly and pretty quick to wait on tables. I would recommend for a good local place
