Stopped here after kayaking in Scappoose Bay. The food and drinks were good and the view of the river was terrific. Worth the visit.

The Roof is a popular restaurant a few miles from where I live that sits on top of a building in Old Town St. Helens. It has a beautiful view, which (in itself) makes the experience well worthwhile. The Roof has a limited menu of mostly hot and cold sandwiches and salads. I had the Reuben sandwich. Enjoyed it. I have gone back several times. Always a great meal. Highly recommended.

The food is amazing, great service, and the view is to die for. I really like that the music is pleasant but also not overwhelming. Easy to hold a conversation with the music. Wonderful variety of beers and cider on tap with some great whiskeys.

We stumbled upon this place today after noticing some people gathered on the roof after parking out front. We walked around the waterfront a bit then on the way back to the car noticed that there was actually a bar or restaurant up there. So glad we went to check it out. Simply Followed the signs to “Roof.” When we reached the top of the building, we entered a very clean, well organized restaurant with a great view. Fantastic brisket sandwich and the strawberry cider really hit the spot. It was not too crowded or loud. Attentive staff. Perfect place to spend a nice warm afternoon. Will travel back from Hillsboro to this spot again.

Wonderful lunch, views and staff! Love this place. We split the Hot Pastrami w/pepper jack cheese sandwich. We ordered the bacon Mac N cheese. Between the delicious lunch and the views, this was a wonderful way to end our weekend.

I mark service low because of so many times that I have gone and their listing says they’re open, and its early on a nice sunny day, like yesterday, but they’re actually closed. I went downstairs instead to the taproom, which is also great but lacks the view, and ran into another couple who had intended to go to roof but was disappointed that they were closed. It was barely after 5! So there were four of us just down there who had intended to go.

Great spot for a pint with a view. Solid tap selection and great sandwiches. Gorgeous view of the Columbia. Get the works on your sandwich. We had. The brisket and it was excellent.

One hour ago I was handed a warm sandwich with chips. It was asked of me if I had ever been up to the Roof? I said no. It was said to me, you will after you eat this. THATS THE TRUTH! FLAVORFUL!, and that’s no lie. Thank You Jeff, and PLEASE, do Thank Your Wife for me. Thank You Marsha. Robert
