First time coming to ROOST for breakfast/brunch, and we’ll 100% be back! Our host and server were so sweet, kind, and attentive. The menu had so many great options- classic breakfast and more creative choices. We ordered the honey lavender coffee to start, and also to go because they were so delicious! The apricot Bellini was tasty and a great size. I’m giving a 4.5 only because my sausage patty was too burnt to eat, besides that the food was wonderful.

Very good spot for breakfast! This was my first time here and definitely not my last. Waffle and bacon were very good, yogurt bowl was a little too plain. Service was great!

Great food, fun decor, excellent service! We came in for brunch on a Thursday, lots of options and most items have a vegetarian substitute for the protein. We shared the Avocado Toast as an appetizer which was excellent and we also had the flavored coffees, Honey Lavender and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch. For the entree we had the Southern Charm Benedict that included fried green tomatoes and the Closed on Sundays Benedict, both were amazing!

Fun little brunch place with some pretty heavy portion of food. Good service and nice atmosphere overall. However, they get a 3 star for food.

Roost is our new favorite brunch spot in York! After recently moving to the area, we got several recommendations to check this place out. We stopped in on a Sunday morning, thinking we were going to have to wait awhile for a table, but we were able to be seated right away. I feel like most people go to Round the Clock or Bob Evans for breakfast on the weekend, but those people are SLEEPING on Roost. It’s a gem tucked into the heart of York, with a fun, eclectic atmosphere and a fun staff. They accommodate families with children as well, having a separate space in the back where the kids can explore a couple arcade games and just be kids. The garbage biscuit has been a fan-favorite among our group, but I’m personally a fan of their cannoli French toast. It’s a good portion and not overly sweet. Perfect when paired with a side of eggs or breakfast meat. There’s plenty of street parking around, but there’s free parking a the garage across from the White Rose on weekends.

We went here for brunch and had a great experience. The staff were so friendly, and the food was delicious. Lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, along with a great variety of sweet and savory brunch options. We ordered the cannoli French toast and the breakfast tacos, and were so pleased with both! Definitely worth stopping in and having repeat visits.

Very quaint laidback place. Nice ambiance. , pleasant helpful service. Food was perfect , I hope you have hearty appetite as omelette was huge. The bread they bring with eggs very interesting and very tasty. Coffee perfectly brewed , no espresso/ cappuccino, was told “we are not a coffee House but breakfast place” which is 100% true. Nice place to enjoy a well made breakfast

So today was my first time eating here and I must say it was great food! On top of the great food, the waiter was extremely great which made the experience much better. I ended up having the brisket Benedict and some hash browns and everything was cooked perfectly. I also appreciated the fact that the brisket was cooked in house. The environment was nice friendly as well! Another thing I enjoyed was their coffee. I’m big on coffee when I go out for breakfast and they nailed it! I would recommend anyone to this place!!
