Honestly this place was well worth the drive . I live in spfld and its 40 minutes away…..it was my first time here. My friend saw their chicken and waffle pictures and made sure to find out where this place was. I starved myself all night at work(3rd shift) and waited for this place to open. It was worth it. The generosity and the hospitality was 1000 outta 10! The food was cooked to order. It’s not one of those places where they cook and leave it there. Fresh fresh fresh! I ordered the waffle burger with waffle fries…and when I tell you that it was heaven in my mouth lord thank you Jesus for this place! The honey butter on the waffle bun along with the perfectly fried chicken patty tossed in sweet chili sauce was to die for. then we also ordered tenders and wings…the lemon pepper was on point. ✔️this place is extremely clean and his station was clean too! the funny thing is that there were 2 other customers that drove far to come to the place too! We was all trying to get it in we couldn’t wait to eat so we ate our burgers in the car . There was a picnic table outside to eat but I was about to tear it up. There was not 1 thing about this place that was bad. They also have a ton of sauce that taste amazing! I give props to this place cause it was a 1 man show and he sure handled it on his own. He put love into the food and we all loved it to the max. I wouldn’t mind spending some money and time to drive for this place….one last thing. The chicken was nice and crispy….all those chicken places can’t even come close to this place. That burger was huge!

This is my third time here. I was blown away the first time. The next time I brought my fussy 13 year old daughter. She loved it. This time I brought my husband. The portions are so large that he couldn’t finish it!! This place is 25 minutes from home with several other chicken places in between but we will happily make the drive to come here. Lots of options, made fresh when you order. The employees have always been pleasant. Can hardly wait to come back.

We ate lunch here today after picking up a DoorDash for someone, and it was amazing! We got nuggets with Mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles plate. Juiciest chicken we ever had, and the Mac and cheese was so good, you could tell it was homemade. We’ll be back to try the wings!!

This place sells the best chicken I’ve ever had, the sweet chili tai is one of my favorite sauces to have ever eaten here, gotta love the staff, is very caring, and gotta love the atmosphere there, if your passing through New Britain gotta give this place a try, you wont regret it

I can’t find an area to contact the owner through the website – I ordered online from the Manchester location and when my fiancé went to pick it up, the place was closed. It has not been open since, the phone rings endlessly, and now the Manchester location isn’t even on the website. “Clover” will not refund us. We love the food and would be willing to drive to New Britain for takeout regularly if this location is willing to fulfill the ~$35 order we never received – we have the receipt. Will also update to 5-star review because nothing compares to Rooster’s! Please reply with how we can get in contact with you.
