I used to love this place but not anymore. Used to be the best place West of the Mississippi with a great owner and huge portions at a great price. And delicious. But now, paper plates and tiny portions and high prices. The owner is so wrapped up in God I don’t think he spends much time here anymore. You will go away hungry! And broke.

Rooters has been around for many years and generally have pretty good food and good service . After it was rebuilt the inside is very nice and rustic . On a cool damp day it is real nice to sit near the fireplace . I would say the food is above average for the price . One other thing to mention , it is very quiet and relaxing . These days that is hard to find .

Not good quality or good value. Went there tonight and we had the Duke and a Philly Cheesesteak. $9 apiece doesn’t buy you much in the way of a sandwich. The Duke had decent flavor (nothing to write home about, but ok), but little meat, and the Cheesesteak’s meat was really dry, with little flavor. The bean were tasty, but you get a small portion in a tiny plastic cup–made all the more ridiculous by the huge spoon they give you! To make the Duke better, they should cut down on the beans, add more meat, and add some sauce. To make the Cheesesteak better, they should have julienned the peppers, added BBQ sauce, added more meat, and added some cheese. DON’T ORDER DESSERT! I still have a chemically taste in my mouth from the chocolate mousse. Interior is cool, which is a shame because I doubt I will go back.

Attention to detail on each order, quality fries at a price leaving you wondering why you purchased a more expensive large frie elsewhere. Cannot stress enough the quality of all aspects of this business.
