The empanadas were great but my pinchos meal was bland and dry. The potatoes were insanely dry and the texture of the peanut sauce was grainy so I ended up using sauce from the empanadas to make it easier to eat.

Wonderful restaurant with a unique menu for the city. The cocktails were perfectly crafted. I would visit again for a cocktail-only experience. I had the steak skewers with plantain salad and Yuka fries. The steak was cooked spot on and very tender. I agree with other reviews that the chimichurri is a must-pair with the steak. The coconut margarita was also a great compliment to the meal. I recommend the leche cupcake for dessert. Finally, the service was some of the best I have experienced locally. This was my first time visiting but will not be the last.

Roots is hands down one of THE best places to eat in Springfield. The atmosphere, the service, and the food all deserve a higher rating. If there was an option for a 6 star, this place would have it. The only recommendation I can give is, if you come here, order a steak option and ask for a side of chimichuri. You WON’T be disappointed. Oh, and the bar drinks are wonderful!

The service was good and the food even better. The steak skewers and Yuma fries were delicious. The piscola cocktail was very good. The dessert was amazing, we had the tres de Leche. This restaurant is a great addition to the Springfield restaurant scene. I will definitely be returning.
