Paid a visit this past weekend for lunch after being a little skeptical from reading a few more recent reviews that there was a decline in quality. However, my group didn’t have that problem. Our main server was Tori, although every staff person we encountered was so pleasant. We even stopped by again later in the day for a quick drink at the bar on our way to another stop, and Tori remembered our faces. We all had different drinks and food items, and aside from my French onion soup, everything was lovely. We’ll be back again on a Sunday to have brunch.

This was our second time here and unfortunately much less enjoyable this time than the first. Came on a Friday afternoon and sat outside which was great. Service was pretty terrible.. staff were nice but there were only 2 of them to wait on multiple tables. Every time you would ask for something you had to wait multiple minutes for it to come. Food was just okay. Hubby got a burger and it was pretty dry so he asked for mustard and mayo. By the time it came, he was done eating. Then, we got charged 50 cents each for the mayo and mustard? Never experienced anything like this in my life. Waitress said the condiments were extra? Unfortunately, probably won’t be back.

First time I’ve been here. Went on a reference from a friend and I’m very pleased by the recommendation. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and 2 different stout style beers. The sandwich was excellent! Large and filling. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Both of my beers were delicious as well. The beer menu is very nice. I can’t wait to go back, really enjoyed Roots and highly recommend to visit when you’re in the area@

I am from out-of-town and went to luch at Roots Real Food Real Beer with friends and family. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and couldn’t belive my eyes when I saw this sandwich. It was loaded with meat and bacon and cheese with a homemade onion ring. It also came with a mega load of fries. I am somewhat leary of ordering BBQ out because everyones taste is different, but this BBQ was out of this world good! The staff was so attentive to us and very friendly. There were six of us in our party. Even though there were other patrons we were treated as though we were their #1 customer. In fact she treated all of the customers the same way. Wait time for our food was short and it all came out hot and delicious. I would recomend anyone to try this restaurant for your next meal. Great job Roots!
