Went on a delicious dinner date. I would definitely come back for another date.

My visit last night was more than disappointing – to say the least. When drinks were ordered I asked for a cup of hot coffee. I was denied with the response: “”we don’t have any”. You name one restaurant which doesn’t serve any coffee and gives the customer that kind of a response?

This place is ridiculous, honestly people who rate this place with good reviews, have not left porterville to try good italian food. The food was not worth the bill at all, and the service? Even worse, the lady serving us kept making smart remarks as if she was super busy whenever we would ask for something, and she only had three tables busy. There were others walking in and out of the kitchen, even one chick at the front who was not busy, I don’t know why they don’t delegate instead of giving the paying customer attitude, there was a hair in my plate and out of courtesy since I saw her running like a chicken with its head cut off, I let it go, but after getting my bill, I regretted it, never going back. It was my first and last time eating there.

We had our church Valentine’s banquet here and it was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely stellar.

Food was very mid. Bread was literally just white bread from store loafs that was semi toasted. When you held them they were flimsy and would bend in half. You couldn’t ask for anything without the old lady having some kind of smart remark. We had a large party with many guest. Thirty or so. “Does any body need a drink?” “Can I please have a Diet Coke?” “No you cannot. I’m really busy….Yeah. Im just kidding! I’ll get you one right now”. Funny the first time, hearing it like ten times got old”. Or something else that rather strange, “My Husband is a retired sheriff, I can get people to do whatever I tell them to do because they’ll listen”. Such a weird power trip.

We needed a place to hold a reception for a funeral service. Rosa’s opened just for us and they did an amazing job. The two waitresses served us took very good care of us. The food was excellent and I had several compliments from guests about the restaurant. Thank you Shannon and Jason for the hospitality and kudos to the ladies who served us. May the good Lord bless you all.

I heard some great reviews and some not so great. I decided to have lunch there today and I was really disappointed with the food. The waitress was really great but that’s it. I ordered the personal lunch pizza and a side salad. The salad dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle, the croutons we’re out of a box. The pizza was tasteless, the sauce tasted like canned without any seasoning. I won’t be going back.

The waitress was friendly. The atmosphere is nice. They use cloth table covers and napkins. But as for the food… the bread they serve as an appetizer is plain. Reminds me of sandwich bread, definitely NOT Italian quality, the butter is in little packets when it should be served in soft blocks in ramekins. The olive oil set out is bitter, not meant for bread. The fried ravioli appetizer was poorly made. The raviolis were small, different sizes, hardly anything inside and were served with small chunks of iceberg lettuce on the plate. It was not appealing. The marinara sauce that came with it was watery and did not have much flavor. The pasta dishes (the tortellini and ziti) were good; they had very good sauces. The pasta entrees DO NOT come with soup or salad. When they ask you if you want them, just know that it’s going to be extra. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, I’m not sure this is the place you’re going to get it.
