We frequent this place as it is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. The staff are pleasant and the interior of the building has a rustic vibe, spacious and clean. Just has a very odd old building smell which is slowly improving. We tried their salad, bean and cheese enchilada Plato and Fish taco sampler. The sauce for fish taco is a bit too sweet; other than that it is okay. The bean and cheese enchilada is very delicious; the salad was very plain. Their verde sauce is too sweet; yet, the hot habanero sauce is quite spicy hot and tasty. I would recommend as you may like some of their other dishes, which we have not sampled yet.

Finally made it here. It’s tough to find food better than mom’s but Rosa’s definitely got close. Chicken fajitas were outstanding. Salsas took a bit to find a good one. Warning, their tomatillo salsa is actually sweet which surprised us. Tried the Serrano and what a find. The roasting flavor really comes through. Service was great. Only knock is they need NFL Sunday Ticket.

When I lived nearby, I used to eat at the Mesa location often. I have eaten there a few times since I’ve moved farther away. But I had never eaten at the Chandler location. I am glad we did. Let’s break it down.

Went in while I waited for my child to do a long school event. Thought I’d pop in, eat something and go. Had never heard of, or been here. I know why that was. I got a margarita and asked to start with a queso appetizer. The queso was just as cold as the salsa that I was served. Not only was it cold but it tasted awful and had so much grated cheese on top it was a mountain. The margarita was yummy and strong. The green salsa was good, red was ok, but that’s all I ended up eating. Didn’t want to order anything after the awful cheese. My waitress was very sweet though.

We held an event here and the private room was perfect. The room was plenty big and the restaurant took care of making sure we had a server dedicated to our party. They had the tables set and ready with chips and salsa. I had the chicken fajita platter and it was huge! The chips were very fresh and perfectly salted.

Service was good and restaurant was clean. However this is more of an Americanized Mexican establishment and me and my family did not like the food. The salsa was too sweet. I think with a few tweaks to the menu this place could be better.

Will never be going back! I ordered chicken chimichanga and it came more filled with beans and melted cheese than chicken. I’ve never had a chimichanga with beans in it. It tasted horrible Service is the worst! Server had negative attitude from the start and not once came and checked to see how everything was. Also both baskets of chips were bottom of bag. Don’t waste your time or money. $55 for 2 people with no alcohol drinks. Ridiculous

We got steak fajitas. The meat was tough. Onions were good, too much green and red peppers. Rice and beans were bland. The flour tortilla were basically raw. The habenero salsa was hot but had no flavor. I will not go back.
