The service and staff was good. They were prompt and polite … the food tho .. :,( I wish I had read the review regarding the pasta tasting like playdoh because that hit the nail in the head .. I got the combo platter with lasagna, meatball, gnocchi, and ravioli ….. the whole dish looked like a scene from CSI.. 🙁 just no flavor sauce … the dinner salad was packaged iceberg from 3 days ago 🙁 and the bread was just a French loaf from Walmart … so sad we did not eat our meal but we paid for it and ate ice cream at home.

Perhaps it is a mere coincidence, but there is always a fantastic, humble Italian eatery in a small town. Krebs is of no exception. One of the best Eggplant parmesans I have ever had. Eggplants were nicely baked and covered with a thick layer of cheese. The marinara sauce had a rich taste of tomatoes.

I will not go back again, only thing that I enjoyed was lamb fries. The rest was not read some of the other reviews before I went in and one person is said that the lasagna was sauce well that was true and the sauce is very sweet which I did not care for at all this was my first visit and will probably be my last. If I was to go back you would be for lamb fries only

I would give our dinner a 2 at the most. This was our first time, but we’ll never go again. Neither my husband or I enjoyed our food; I did not eat the majority of mine and he even left food on his plate. We did like the ranch dressing and he liked his tea. The amount of sauce on my food was immense and I would say it was not very flavorful and Luke warm. I don’t know if it was homemade or not, but it did not taste like it to me. Additionally, for me, the gnocchi tasted dense and heavy without a lot of flavor. I was very disappointed in the lasagna and the spaghetti reminded me of a very inexpensive restaurant’s spaghetti back home, which I don’t order either. My husband got Chicken Parmigiana and he told me to wait until we went to another restaurant to try it because he didn’t want me to base if I liked it or not from the one he got there. Neither one of us liked the bread which was very disappointing because often times you can at least you can enjoy that. He described it as soggy and I described it as relatively flavorless.

This is not what I was expecting. The service was ok. As for the food that’s a whole different story. The garlic bread was the only food that was good. We ordered the sampler not sure the name but it came with ravioli, spaghetti, 1 meat ball, Lasagna, and gnocchi. I do t even know were to begin with this dish. The lasagna tasted like play-doh, it had the taste as play-doh smells. The gnocchi did not seem fresh and tasted as it was the one you buy in a bag at the grocery store. The ravioli was undercooked or something because I bit into it and part of it was cold as if it was frozen but I’m not to sure. The noodle texture was really off, the filling was ok but cold. The spaghetti was covered in what the entire plate was covered in the same sauce. The sauce wasn’t bad but seemed to lack flavor. The chicken Alfredo is in the same boat. The chicken was flavorless and seem as if it came out of a can. The Alfredo sauce was Blane and just thrown on. The kids menu needs to be updated and fixed. We ordered chicken strips. This was a country fried steak that was cut into Strips, no sides were provided or even offered. The kids grill cheese are two pieces of what appeared to be garlic bread and shredded mozzarella smashed together. This one came with chips for some reason and wasn’t listed on the menu from what I remember. This place needs to fix there quality in all places. I hate writing reviews like this but due to the way the food tasted and presentation of everything, I don’t think we will be revisting this place again.

Not what I remembered when I was growing up. More sauce than actual food. Pasta was mushy and overcooked. Lasagna? I’ve had better from a box of hamburger helper. Ravioli was an absolute failure…also overcooked and had no texture. Finally, the sauce had no depth or seasoning.

This establishment is a family-oriented, casual and I think BYOB type of restaurant. While initially it may appear to be lacking in frills the service and food make up for it tenfold! Whole sized pasta orders ensure that you’ll have leftovers for home and the half portion is enough to enjoy in one sitting although after salad and bread I took half of my half order home for leftovers. I don’t frequent this area very often but I’ll definitely consider it a viable option when I am up there and deciding where to go eat.

Food was great, seated promptly. The best was our server! She was full-on customer service. I was tempted between the daily special of Chicken Parmigiano or the ravioli. She made it easy. “Try the special, and I’ll bring you a ravioli on the side.”
