Disappointing Experience, Poor Service Management.

I was a little disappointed after choosing this place based on their social media. Online, they have a “Golden Hour” menu, but when we arrived we learned that instead, it was a Summer Happy Hour which was only drinks, no food. We ordered the shrimp cocktail ($25) which unfortunately only had four shrimp. We also ordered 1/2 dozen oysters ($24) – these were wonderful and came with a fabulous mignonette and shaved horseradish. This seems like generally the cost of oysters in Delray. My partner and I got three of their drinks: Pineapple Dream, Rosebud, and Kings Tonic. All the drinks were cute, but not as pretty as pictures on social media made them seem, and were served in plastic cups. Both Pineapple Dream & Rosebud were too sweet, and while Kings Tonic was good, it was just a Mojito with a cucumber. Gratuity was included, which I appreciate, but we would not have known if we didn’t look closely at the receipt. The overall vibe/ambiance of the place is lovely, and I’m sure on a cooler day the outside would be packed with people.

We had family in from out of town and have been wanting to try Rosewater Rooftop. Valet was fast and friendly even despite it being cash ONLY because “the machine is broken”.

Beautiful, chic new restaurant perfect for date night or ladies night! The Ray hotel is quite lovely and they do a wonderful job with the decor. My husband and I grabbed an early dinner at Rosewater. It was roughly 2pm so the menu has limited options. Definitely recommend the frosé, it’s sweet and pretty! For food we had the guacamole, chicken wings, and wagyu burger. The meals were enjoyable. We’d definitely come back for dinner as they have more menu options in the evening. We did see a few kids in the pool nearby, but it definitely gives off a more romantic, date night look and feel. It’s worth trying at least once. I look forward to staying here one day!

Our server was attentive, and made cocktail suggestions. The food is great, but I wish the portions were a little bigger because I left needing another meal. I love that the cocktail glasses are actually plastic (can’t break plastic as easily as glass haha). They use paper straws and they don’t have a brunch menu which is semi disappointing but not make or break for me. Overall it’s nice modern place with wonderful hand soap in the bathroom.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere and what we ordered from the menu was delicious and generous. We sat at the bar and our bartender was awesome, pampering us with creative drinks that were perfectly crafted. One important thing, at least for me, is the fact that the music volume was perfect, most places I visit it’s so loud that makes it impossible to hold a conversation, The only thing that surprised me was that at 10 the place started to die. I would have stayed all night if it wasn’t for that. Overall, super cool place! I would definitely visit again .

If you total in the experience with friends and the ambience for a rooftop bar at a hotel in Delray, then the price is about right for where you are, though the menu is on the pricier side comparatively. The server and the bar didn’t have change of $100, short like $7, though which we thought was odd. Small portions so no leftovers. We shared an order of the tacos, the calamari, the oysters, a yummy cocktail, and cheesecake for her birthday. Good flavors and good experience overall.

Rosewater Rooftop is really chill and a nice scene . I had a drink around sunset and it was a fun experience in Delray . Pineapple Dream drink was sooo good as a cocktail . RR is a hip bar to grab quick bites and cocktails . I really loved my drink a lot and the customer service was really welcoming so it made the experience better . Our server was helpful with recommendations and suggestions on the menu . The Ray is a nice boutique hotel to relax and explore the pool/bar area in an elegant and chic environment . It’s in Delray and near other shops and bars close by Atlantic Ave . The decor ,vibe, experience , and ambience were really classy and not too crowded.
