I came here with my boyfriend’s family. You order outside and then there is a seating area or you can take it home. We took ours home. I got the cheeseburger basket and I shared a medium peanut butter fudge milkshake with my boyfriend. The food was delicious! The milkshake was definitely the highlight of the night- it was not too thick and not too thin. The flavor was just right. We got our food about 10 minutes after ordering it, which was really nice and faster than I expected. The prices were reasonable for it being a local place, and the quality was very good as well.

Quick stop in here while on my way to a ballgame. Nice little roadside stand type operation even though in the heart of Columbia. Hotdogs were small but good. Looks like all the way includes chili, onions and mustard. Fries were cooked just right. Window workers were very friendly.

A real local eats gem. This place is well established and well loved by the community. It’s also a fun experience. order at the window. Expect a line around lunch and dinner as a lot of people love their chicken and they sell out. Lots of small ice cream options with toppings for kids, just simple soft serve. I enjoy the turkey sandwich. Typical dairy bar food. They have an indoor place to eat there with air and restrooms or you can easily take it to a nearby park.

Manager on duty on the said date of 5/16/22. Yelled and got very disrespectful when I called in to attempt to informed her the food was cold & old. See picture posted. “Two wing basket for $19.00.” She said it was fresh. Then slam phone receiver down in my ear. I will go to Public grocery store across the street next time. I’m Glad I can leave an honest review here without getting disrespected . “My advise, Don’t buy any chicken from this restaurant between 6:30 & 7:00pm. Especially if you in a rush. CHECK YOUR FOOD!

Wow. When I go to a place I want my food to me fast, accurate and hot. This place was all three. The customer service was superb. He helped me figure out what to order. The chili cheese dog was top of the line no complains. Only only thing I would say is. I did not ask for ketchup on the side for the fries and there was none in the bag. So if you are a sauce guy like me. Make sure to request some with the food.

I was just down I’m South Carolina for a week and my air bnb happened to be down the street from this spot so I checked it out and damn I loved it.This place has been here since 1942 with few changes and I had the grilled chicken sandwich one day,cheeseburger the other,and dairy bar burger I believe the last day of course all of these come with a generous portion of fries.If you eat here try their strawberry shakes made with real strawberries.Lastly I’m from Texas and this place reminds me of real mom and pop joints.I can’t recommend it enough and the workers are discreet.

I haven’t tasted the food. My Husband left his wallet and was on lunch break. I called to pay for his food, but understandably that was a no go. Fraud happens. But, I couldn’t go on a website to order without signing up for delivery. We didn’t need delivery, as he was standing right there. #Ugh
