It was my first time here. Staff was a bit slow to acknowledge our presence. Once we were seated, the server was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered the menudo and added pigs feet on the side, it was delicious!!! Too bad I live so far, I’d come back!!!!

Very good value for your money. Food has a home-cooked vibe. Service is excellent, but i came on a busy day so a few items were forgotten, like the bread and tortillas. Overall, a good experience. Come during slow times so the staff isn’t overloaded.

The food is great but the service is kind of slow, I have always tried to place the order ahead but they never answer the phone. Only two waitresses but no one available to offer a coffee refill or ask if I needed anything. Is always like that, but the food taste always brings me back. Accessible parking and the place always empty.

The pozole and/or menudo are just 2 reasons to go here for breakfast. Great service and reasonable prices are two more. Traditional breakfasts are generous portions and the home fries are to die for.

Ate here while waiting for my dog being helped by the good people of vca animal hospital. The place smelled like a well sanitized hospital, i worked/clinical at 6 different hospitals, and i believe this one place was more cleaner than half the hospitals I worked, maybe more than half. The service is great! The breakfast is so good! I can’t decide which is my number one place, rosewood or shakers in pasadena.

The food is always delicious!! My personal favorite is the homemade pork pozole….it is the best I have ever had. I also love the machaca, it is moist, tender and very flavorful. Just about anything you order will be delicious! The service is fast and friendly. It has that small town feel where everyone knows each other. Waiters and waitresses are #1 in my book!
