First, Rosie’s is more of a takeout than sit down. There are a few tables inside and one or two outside. The Pizza( square) is EXCELLENT! Hard to describe since it is not your typical Jersey shore pizza. The restaurant may lack frills but the pizza and food is BIG on frills. If you have ever been to Baltimore and tried Matthew’s Pizza then this gives you an idea of Rosie’s. Excellent rustic, charred, airy sourdough crust is married to just the right amount of sauce and Italian cheeses that is then topped with fresh basil and an aromatic olive oil. The olive oil adds an umami effect that brings the pizza to a whole new level of taste. Met the owner and staff who were friendly and very helpful. A must……

OMG this pizza is so good! You must call well in advance to place an order for pick up. Ordering instructions are on their website. We called at 4:30 and were able to secure a 7:00pm pick up…and they close at 8:00. The pizza is worth the advance planning. The have a pie called The Crew, apparently because the team there decided on the toppings. We love it! There’s pepperoni, red onion, Italian peppers and capers I think. Whatever, it’s a great combo with a bit of a kick. The salad is arugula with roasted red pepper, red onion, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, feta tossed with their house vinaigrette. Gotta love the simplicity of the menu; gives them the time to focus on making great food. Highly recommend!!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed Rosie’s Pizza so much that we dined here twice in one week on our vacation! He got the pepperoni with honey hot and I got plain with vinegar peppers. We dined inside both times. The first time we went, we got there early afternoon and we were served immediately. The second time we ordered for pick up at 4pm on a Sunday and it was ready and hot when we arrived. The employees are friendly and helpful. Rosie’s is now our #1 pizza spot, beating all of our fav Philly locations.

My favorite place when I am down the shore. However, they are definitely cooking the pizzas more well done, maybe due to due to the craze of burnt pizza now. ( round pie from last year, burnt square from recently). But the burnt pizza takes away from the excellent taste of the pizza that not many places can duplicate. Just my 2 cents.

I moved from NJ to Florida a couple years ago. I heard a lot about Rosie’s, when I came back to the Jersey Shore for a visit I had to try it. It definitely did not disappoint. I know it may not be saying much living in Florida now but one of the best pizza I have had in a long time, including, NJ, NY and New Haven pizza. I got a traditional round and a Grandma’s Pie. Typically I expect a Grandma’s Pie to be square with a thin crust. This was square with a thicker crust more traditional Sicilian but with a nice crunchy crust. Not a big menu which is good they do what they do well….

Well this was one for the record. I’ve had a long life of eating the best pizza around. I look at elite pizza places like this. You have Pappas in Hamilton, Deninos from Staten Island, and there are many elite pizza places. It’s pointless to say who’s the best. They’re all top shelf, so it comes down to your personal taste. I went to Rosie’s pizza in Point Pleasant NJ today, because I heard it was the best. Well it was the best. After all these years I found the best pizza I’ve ever had. The taste and texture of this pizza was off the charts. You owe it to yourself to try this pizza. They have only been around for five years, but they definitely did their homework. Thank you Rosie’s, I will get the word around for sure…

Wow….excellent pizza. Excellent crust, great cheese, good sauce, very well balanced flavor and terrific consistency on every slice and each pie they make. They also make a meatball sandwich which looked great. Call ahead and order. No dining in, just take out. Pizza is thin with a perfectly cooked crust. Great char to the pie which they accomplish on their high efficiency electric oven. Mike, the owner, nice guy. Great to see a business owner this involved with his business. Wishing his and this place continued success. I would rate this place a solid 8.4 on the pizza scale. Didnt have their white, the square, or the tomatoe pie without cheese. Dough is the same on each from what im told so it has to also be good. For sure check this place out if you can!
