I introduced this location to my husband. He absolutely devoured their burrito. He mentioned it was a smidge salty. But, still ate it all. I enjoyed the fried avocado. I couldn’t eat the entire meal the size of of avocado was so large. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We got there an hour before they closed. And we ordered, ate, and placed a to go order all within that hour. We took home the “corn in a cup” (Elote) and you know what?! It took me back to when I was a young girl and would order it whole from the market back back home. It was soooo fricking delicious. I will be returning for that Elote.

As usual, STILL my favorite real Mexican restaurant in the Lake Charles area! Glad they have opened the second location and it’s doing good. You know it is good Mexican food when there are more Mexicans eating there than locals. The food isn’t really much different from the original location, and they have fresh Horchata as well! Either here or the Sulphur location is my go to place for Mexican food

If u like delicious Mexican food. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. Food was horrible!!! I only picked at it n pretty much left it all there. They definitely need a better cook to prepare the meals. Waitress was very friendly but thats about it. All 3 of us give this place same rating!
