Stopped for breakfast while driving back to St Louis. The food was great and the prices were unbelievable. No where else to get 2 eggs, bacon plus biscuits and gravy for $4.99. Wait staff and locals eating Sunday breakfast were all very friendly. Was very busy while I was here so had to wait my turn to have mine cooked but I enjoyed the extra time to drink coffee and check out the old photos on the wall. Very glad I took the extra few minutes to get off the interstate and would recommend anyone to do the same if they would enjoy an old country diner.

1st time here , outside of the place needs some work. The AC had gone out and was warm inside. Waitress was working up a sweat. A true local Dive , good people running it . Inside needs restoration. Overall a good experience. I would go back.

There are only a handful of options in town, especially for a dine in experience. I had the fish plate with hushpuppies and pinto beans. The boneless catfish filets were a treat. The service was good and the atmosphere provides a quaint look of a small town diner with regional memorabilia on the walls.

My daughter and her husband moved to Caruthersville back in January. My wife and I came down in March and gave this place a visit. The owner was our waitress. She was absolutley the nicest person ever. My other kids had a good conversation with her and we signed her first book. Fast forward to 2 days ago..I went back to move my daughter and her husband back to Michigan. I couldn’t wait for those biscuits and gravy. I’m sad I’ll probably never be back. Great food, awesome service.

Nothing special, but I always like to give a local diner a try. I’d go back, just to not eat fast-food. Glad the locals still have a place, but I’ve had better food. The service was fine, no complaints from me.

This restaurant is located in Caruthersville. Missouri. The waitresses was very nice. The food tasted average; the food was served quickly; the food was hot, but nothing to write home about. If you are healthy eating conscious, avoid this place; the only food item that could be considered healthy was the sugar free syrup. The prices seemed high. Additionally, charging a $1.85 alone for sugar free syrup was excessive. I won’t eat there again.

Growing up, I always loved going to The Round House to eat. Even after some many years it’s still amazing. My last time dining here wasn’t exactly under the happiest of circumstances but I still enjoyed my dining experience same as I always did in the past and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
