This place is DEAD. No music, no people, no nothing. The food is probably one of the worst i’ve had in a long time. Had the pork chop it was super salty, and i couldn’t eat it. I tried not to complain about food, but this isn’t edible. The server was nice. But that’s about it. Im sad because i do like to help small businesses.

Ordered many items my one and only visit to get an idea of the taste. Meatloaf was just a ball of hamburger meat wrapped in bacon, very dry. Pork chops were decent but the gravy was extra salty, too much salt. The mashed potatoes were cold while the mustard greens were scalding hot. Boudin didn’t have any flavor. Gumbo was cold. Waitstaff was inattentive but when the bill was due she lingered at our table until we paid. I don’t know how they stay in business at that price and low quality. Ya they get many people to try it out but how many repeat customers do they get? Do yourself a favor and go to Simp’s.

The food was good, but service was lack luster. My daughter and I had fish and grits; my mom had shrimp and grits. The dishes were good except Boudain balls…they tasted like hush puppies. Also, when we ordered, the waitress failed to tell us there was no dipping sauce. The waitress took quite a while to come and take our order. We ordered an appetizer and that was brought out until 5 to 10 minutes after the main course arrived.

Our first time here. Great restaurant atmosphere. Staff really friendly. We ordered cat fish po boy sandwich, blackend/fried catfish creole. Sandwich great Cajun flavors, catfish plate the dirty rice , creole sauce slightly salty (for my taste), still ate most of it.

We went on a Friday night, they had someone playing music and they had hookahs, we went to have dinner wasn’t expecting that. Nice chill spot but the music was too loud for us to talk.. My drink taste like it had no alcohol in it, just Kool aid, and I’m not even a drinker.. LOL.. I did enjoy my food, I had fish mac and cheese and yams. The staff is very nice as well.. cool for just hanging out and enjoying some music, but not the place on Friday night if you trying to go chill and conversate with your bae.. LOL. Not sure if its just on weekends or not.

Absolutely delicious! We are so glad we ended up here. The golden étouffée was the best we’ve ever had & the meatloaf was absolutely fantastic! The staff was so friendly and sweet with our kids. Great drinks, staff & food! A MUST TRY!
