Beautiful scenery, especially in warmer months when they have outdoor seating overlooking the dock and the sound. We loved the fried crispy oysters and clams for appetizers. My main dish of salmon is underwhelming, though.

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in Fairfield County! We have been a hand full of times this summer and have nothing but good things to say about the food, drinks, vibe and service. We usually get oysters, the shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, lobster mac and cheese and lobster rolls . Always fresh and delicious enjoyed with a beautiful view of the water (especially if you can sit outside). With quality and quantity going down and prices going up at most restaurants due to inflation, Rowayton Seafood is the only place I get excited to visit these days.

Everything was amazing from our drinks to our entrees! Our bartender was friendly, attentive and very helpful with menu selections. We love sitting at the bar and interacting with people, especially with a great bartender and manager who is a bourbon aficionado!! We had a great time today talking about their excellent bourbon selection. All in all a great meal and hands down an awesome place for a picture perfect day.

Can’t say enough about the food, the drinks the service and the atmosphere. The entire experience was A+. From the oysters and Tuna to the Fish Special and linguini with Clam Sauce, all fresh and delicious. Creative drink menu and lovely heated outside area added to the lovely evening. And our server Maria was a huge part of making our evening fantastic. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We had a great experience with our server, Lilly. She made great recommendations and we loved the calamari, lobster roll (get the Rowayton style) and shrimp and grits. The food was so fresh and tasted great. Atmosphere is nice and rustic inside with big windows overlooking the water. Recommend for any occasion!

Beautiful location and views with nice menu selection. Clam chowder had a creamy consistency and a smoky flavor from the bacon. A little different than traditional clam chowder but very good. Crab cake appetizer was delicious, had lumps of crab in it and sauce was great. Cabbage slaw was okay. Fish and chips were smaller pieces which provided more batter to fish ratio. Batter was just a tad greasy but really nitpicking. Overall a great dish. Swordfish was very good. Plantain mash was the only item I did not like. Lacked flavor and seasoning. Will definitely return to try other menu items. Cornbread side was good, toasted and buttered but when you bit in the inside was cold.
