You have to understand what you’re stepping into when you walk into this place – it’s not a fast food restaurant, nor is it a grab and go. The food and drink is made and served by a limited number of hard working folk – who do their best even with a frequent overload of patrons. While it did take a little while to get our food, it came out piping hot and fresh off the grill. This place is a great experience of a small hometown bar and grill.

While I did get my food to go, the person who took my order was SO nice and I even chatted with a few people sitting and having dinner at a table. I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the Best burgers I’ve ever had!!! So delicious, I ate the whole thing!

My family and I just stopped by Roxey’s for the first time ever to grab a bite to eat after a day of picking blueberries and I must say that it was a fantastic little dive. The best burgers in town, hands-down, and the owners were just as friendly as can be. I can’t believe that I’ve never been in there before.

My friend has dietary issues and for being a bar they did a good job of meeting her needs. We sat at the bar and the gal working was super sweet and the food is delicious. Prices very reasonable.

The best moscow mules in town. The food was delicious!! I got a scrumptious bbq pulled pork sandwhich and my lady got a yummy cheeseburger with all the fixings and an egg. I definitely reccomend swinging by and grabbing some food and drink

Stopped in here after a long day of hiking in the porkies. Staff went out of their way to make to explain the menu and ask questions. The Roxeys burger was great. Will stop in again when back up north.

In a fairly remote area, Roxey’s is a hidden gem! Love the pulled pork special on the weekends with really great prices and an awesome staff. Definitely our favorite in Ontonagon.

TERRIBLE experience! We went in, seated ourselves at the bar in order to not take up a table. All we got from the woman behind the bar was menus slapped down on the bar in front of us. She proceeded to ignore us, but we thought, “Well, it’s busy.” We waited 15 minutes while she continued to ignore us. Then a guy came in and sat down next to us. She took his order for a beer and brought it to him, opened it for him, and started a conversation. We left. Mind you, we’re not Karens. When she gave us the menus, we thanked her with smiles. We were two women, so maybe they don’t like women at Roxey’s. Or maybe they don’t like tourists (it’s pretty clear, I think, that we’re not from here). Whatever the reason, we sure wouldn’t go back…
