For the price it is good food. The chicken is great its most and flavorful. The vibe of the place is calming. Yes it is a local chain but it beat out some mom and pop shops. This location has the view of the lake and is relatively clean.

I had the shoyu chicken for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how tender and flavorful the chicken was. The mac salad was also amazing. (They we’re out of rice today because of the insane lines at the pumpkin regatta, but the veggies were tasty too.) I’ll definitely stop by again!

Ok, look, let’s just be really honest. You cannot go to this place without having at least one spam dish. Spam is the star of the show, whether you do spam and eggs, or spam musubi. Yes, I have absolutely had their chicken katsu, and teriyaki chicken, but I always come here for the spam. With a big old pile of white rice to soak up all the amazing sauces, and a scoop of mac salad, you truly cannot go wrong, especially for the price. This is one of my favorite stops for a meal with some of my favorite flavors when visiting family in the area. You can also take your meal and sit by the lake that is right next door, which makes for a very pleasant evening. The staff are somewhat indifferent, but kind and helpful, the music is definitely island- oriented, which is perfect, and you just get an amazing product over and over again.
