I had been wanting to try fufu in Charlotte and these guys did not disappoint! It was simply fabulous! Please try the Okra soup with two choices of protein! I also enjoyed the Afro-pop music. Highly recommend!

They gave me warm fanta and the wait was extremely long even though there wasn’t many people eating inside. Getting service was slow because the waiter was watching tv. Waited forever (1hr) because the waiter was inattentive and because my order ticket was misprinted. physical menu was dirty and a side of rice was 9 dollars, which is absurd. Food was ok not worth the wait

Hubby and I both loved loved the food at the restaurant. First time we went, hubby got the jollof with goat meat and fried plantains. I got asun and fried plantains. We loved it so much we came back. Hubby got the same thing and I got grilled Tilapia, coconut fried rice and fried plantains. The food was very well seasoned and tasty. We can’t wait to go back. No complaints. Oh, it’s important to note we got the Nigerian jollof .

Went there and ordered okra stew. It was more oil than okra. Fine. So I ordered light soup and would take the oily okra home to drain it. So I order 2 meals. They brought me out a Styrofoam plate to put an oily dish in. I asked for a plastic container they refused. I told them I would pay for the plastic container they still refused. So I ordered 2 meals, one I should have returned because it was oily, not stewed. But we are arguing over not giving a proper take out container. I got the bill I ordered 2 waters 1 cost $1.50the other $2. I refused to take the light soup as they wouldn’t give me a container for my stewed okra. The menu said both dishes were $14.99 and 12.99 charged me 21.99 for the (wakeye)? and $19.99 for the okra stew. No sign of a price increase anywhere. I asked them to explain the price difference. Everyone looked shocked that I actually paid attention to my bill. The problem went from employees to the boss with no honest answer they could not make it make sense. No, they didn’t give me my money back Don’t eat there or just know this restaurant has a menu for haha sake and make you pay whatever they want to charge you. WATCH YOUR BILL. LITTLE FOOD FOR ALL THAT MONEY. Their serving size is ridiculous for the money that make up and charge you. The bill doesn’t match the menu???

I visited this restaurant on two occasions. The first time the customer service wasn’t so good and I didn’t get what I ordered. However, the owner took accountability and reached out to rectify the situation.

Really good food here. Tried the Nigerian jellof rice and chicken, which was superb. Also had the fried rice and chicken which was good. The suya was cooked a little too hard/chewy; it did not have the softer texture I was looking for. But the seasoning was good and they were really thoughtful about putting the spices on the side so you can decide how spicy you want it.

I decided to support this restaurant on July 8th. I ordered a plate of beef. It came cold and in dry cut pieces with raw slivers of onions and a dash of hot dry powder spices spread on the plate.
