A beautiful 10 minute walk from central bourbon street. Beautiful neighborhood. The sushi was authentic and fresh, did not taste frozen. Plenty of options for people who don’t like fish. We got a lot of food and it was $65 for 3 people.

Yummy sushi and friendly service! I had cream cheese added to my sweet potato roll [a whopping $1.50 to do here] and as you can see in the pictures there was significantly less than the cream cheese in another roll, which when I pointed this out to them they gave me more cream cheese so they quickly fixed the situation. My friend got a roll with salmon in it which tasted super fresh and buttery like it should. Everything was delicious, thank you!

Do NOT waste your money here. Pay attention to the bad reviews- I wish we did. When they brought out our sushi roll (Bourbon roll) that we ordered, we noticed right away that there wasn’t jalapeño’s in the roll and that’s specifically why we wanted the roll. We very politely let the waitress know and she had the “manager” come over and tell us we had 2 choices: to bring jalapeño slices to the table or to re-make the roll entirely. We asked, politely, if they could remake the roll because it was not only made incorrectly but it was pretty much all cream cheese which was not pleasant (but we didn’t complain about that.) then, they come back with a new roll, this time it was laid out differently than before. They were stacked on top of each-other because they designed it to APPEAR like there was only one slice of jalapeño on top of each roll, but really, they had the entire SERRANO pepper just stuck underneath, HIDDEN, so we wouldn’t know we were about to eat a huge chunk of Serrano pepper. That’s honestly one of the most messed up things I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, let alone a Japanese restaurant where we are buying the most expensive bottle of sake to really enjoy our time. Or try. When we asked to speak with the manager, she automatically went on the defense instead of assisting us. She was incredibly rude, insincere, unapologetic, and on top of it all- looked sloppy like she did not take care of herself. No idea who is running that place but it should be shut down. Bottom line: RUN the other way.

Good food, I have been there a few times and every visit the food is good. The staff is friendly but sometimes they are too busy and forgot about the order or something else (the restaurant probably need more staff). It’s a busy place and the area is also crowded with cars so you probably will need some time to get parked.

We walked in with a large party and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Everything we ordered tasted great. Will definitely return.

I was visiting from Houston and this was the first place I’ve been to that actually has SPICY mayo and ramen. It was so good!! I got the crouching tiger roll and it was some of the best sushi I’ve had. My mom and sister got the spicy tonkotsu and they both said it was good. I got the fried cheesecake after and it was perfect. My mom got the pink lady cocktail and she liked it so much she got two.

Who would have guessed there was a fantastic sushi restaurant in the middle of New Orleans? I guess the city’s legendary food culture applies even to non-local cuisine! This unpretentious place has seriously good rolls. If you want my advice, try the Bourbon roll. But even the basic rolls are excellent!

Restaurant interior is nicely decorated with paintings of Japanese theme. Large mural on wall. Calamari appetizer was a hit. It came with 2 pieces of onion rings. We ordered three rolls, Royal, Rainbow and Spyder. And a soy-based ramen with bbq pork. The soup base was slightly more salty for me. All rolls tasted good, except the sushi rice was on the cold(er) side, definitely not room temp. Only complaint I have with the sushi rolls. Service was more than adequate, attended to all our requests. Overall, shall return when possible.

Sushi isn’t usually the first thing people look for when it comes to the French Quarter, but this is a great little place on the outskirts! Friendly, helpful staff, good food, and reasonable prices for both sushi and drinks. I’ll definitely be back there again the next time I’m in the neighborhood.
