First visit the ambiance is amazing. The restaurant is gorgeous. Lots of little corners yet open spaces. This is the perfect place for a wedding proposal. The aesthetic is Royalty the place exudes palace. Ornate marble and gold everywhere. Exquisite fabric covered chairs..Service is immediate. They have an extensive drink menu and whiskey list. I just ordered simple. I had the corn crab chowder it was good. My entree was a simple chicken and potatoes in a red somewhat spicy sauce. I had an appetizer but I do not know the name ( it was an airy dumpling) the server was very attentive. The place gives off a formal vibe but it was a Monday people were dressed casual.

There is eating out and then there is a dining experience. Royal Taj definitely qualifies as a dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised after taking my mother based on a recommendation for her birthday. Although in an unassuming location, the interior is magical. From the moment you enter the restaurant, the dining experience begins. You are welcomed from the entry way to your seat. True hospitality. As you are treated like a true guest en route to your seat, you are noticing the sparkling chandeliers, bookcases, the homage to Indian leaders, the wait staff who are polite and dressed in black and white vests/pants and white shirts. I immediately knew it would be a great experience. The service was great, the wait staff kind, accessible, hospitable. We had various wait staff but it all added to the feel of the grandeur and hospitality. I am not well versed in Indian food so I made the choice that seemed most familiar to me. It was good. My mother was more familiar and absolutely loved her food. I will be returning again and again. The drinks were . And I loved that the ambiance inspired you to dress up and match in beauty. In a change in American culture to be so casual, it feels nice to step into something that inspires you to step up. That being said, some people dressed casually. That’s their right. I simply loved Royal Taj and look forward to returning in the winter with the ambiance and the fireplaces.

Me and my mom had a wonderful time yesterday at this restaurant. They were so nice and we were treated like family. The manager or owner was so personable along with the staff. They made sure everybody was good and treated everyone with the same kindness. I loved the decor because it seemed like you actually stepped into India itself. The food was amazing and had great portion sizes. I have already told my friend group about it and I can’t wait until they come to try the food. 5 star experience and I will be returning.

As soon as I arrived to this restaurant I was happily greeted and escorted to a comfy dining table for 2. We ordered 1 app and 2 entrees and a desert. It was all very tasty and truely prepared Indian food. The staff is super attentive, the drinks are strong and they genuinely want you to totally enjoy your experience. I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and she really enjoyed everything about our experience. We will definitely be visiting Royal Taj again!

Have been going to Royal Taj for years, back when they still had their lunch buffet. Now that they no longer offer buffet, I don’t like going as much, since the food is good but very overpriced. The meat dishes will cost around 30$ but come in very small portions, so be prepared to spend a lot more than you usually would for Indian food.

An amazing dining experience with first class service! I would be ok with never eating Indian cuisine anywhere else! The place is know by locals for great food and service so I recommend booking a reservation. You can always sit at the bar if your table is not ready but they go above and beyond to ensure that no one has to wait long.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. From the food to the service. Especially the SERVICE! The wait staff go above and beyond. The servings were plentiful. I had the vegetable samosa, onion bhajia, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. It was all savory and delicious. The atmosphere will transport you. I will definitely be going back!! And next time I’ll be dressed to impress.
