When I tell y’all everything that was purchased was amazing! Please believe me! We ordered oxtail and jerk chicken plates with cabbage and rice! you can choose the sides you want! We had lemonade (homemade) VERY DELICIOUS( ordered one to go), and he a ginger beer. I also ordered the Rum cake (2x) Beef Patties we’re perfectly made as well as the Coco Bread, PERFECTION!

This place, “hole in the wall’ local! And if you happen to find it, no disappointment here. Jerk chicken is delicious and the yams, I could drink! Staff is quiet and friendly. Completely happy I found this place. Will be back again on our next visit.

I’ve never had Jamaican food before. This place Rocks! Enjoy your meal while watching TV or with the outstanding music and atmosphere. I had the Oxtails with cabbage and rice. Phenomenal! Not too spicy but very savory. Definitely a must try! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms are very clean. Love the decor!

I had the oxtails with mac-n-cheese and let me tell you, they were tender and seasoned well. I got it to go but it didn’t make it home ☺️. Friendly service with good vibes. I wish they would put more oxtails on the plate!!! This little dimond in the rough is worth the stop.

By far the BEST Jamaican restaurant in BR. Flavor, presentation and customer service is all there. The restaurant makes me feels like I’m back at home in Jamaica. When the food is good you don’t need all the “fancy” gimmicks. The authenticity makes you want to keep coming back.

My wife has been wanting to have jamaican cuisine for a very long time, since her dad and family are from the islands. We saw Royal Taste of Jamaica on the news last night and got really excited. It is one of the best food experiences I’ve had in Baton Rouge. The food was amazing, fresh and made with care. I can’t say enough good things about it and I definitely will come back and recommend this place!
