The food was good. (Not happy about a surprise upcharge on our pad thai-said it came with shrimp, then got charged for shrimp, but oh well.) They have a cool machine to save the servers from carrying food and plates throughout the restaurant that was fun to watch. Overall a nice place for dinner our first night on the island.

My group of 10 all enjoyed this dinner stop. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were all happy at how quick the food was delivered. The rating system for the spice level was a little off according to my group. Some of them choose a 2 for the spice level, and decided it wasn’t spicy enough. Not to worry, the waitress brought us extra hot sauce to adjust to our likeness 🙂

Service/Atmosphere and food taste was good but my only complaining was that they shortened the ingrains! We ordered Royal Thai Special Chicken $20.99 There were barley chickens and were very tiny, 2 Shitake mushrooms/ 2 broccoli heads? Also the fresh shrimp roll $10.99 For that price at least 2 shrimps maybe?

Great food reasonably priced, attentive service and wonderful raw materials make for a great time. Mahi Mahi in green curry on a bed of veggies topped with avocado and Mac nuts – the night’s special – was incredibly good. Love this place!

Horrible place. Food tasted horrible. We ordered the salad, and main dish. We didn’t eat the food and told the waitress that we didn’t like it and she didn’t even apologize or suggest us some other food. On the top of it we have to pay the bill even though we didn’t eat the food. That was rude and unprofessional from their side. Will never visit them again and do not recommend anyone to eat there if you wanna eat authentic Than cuisine. If there would be minus 5 starts I would give them minus 5.

Both times I’ve had curry here it was all veggies and almost no broth, and my “green”curry had food coloring in that made the chicken blueish. It also had a funny chemical taste. The other food was great. I would avoid curry here. There are many other great Thai places in town with amazing curry!

Great authentic Thai food. Pineapple fried rice was amazing. Two star spice level (out of 5) was a great lip tingling / runny nose level for this white guy! Higher spice levels are not for the faint of heart / palette.

We ordered crispy spring rolls, Thai fried chicken wings for appetizers, and drunken noodles and crispy duck as main courses. The chicken wings did not come as chicken wings… and it tasted dry. Drunken noodle was fine but crispy duck also tasted really dry. Would not recommend these two fried dishes.

Royal Thai was a delicious dinner & great service with wonderful ambiance! Their garlic stir-fry w/shrimp, dumpling soup & crunchy spring rolls were all fresh and more than enough food for two. Dessert of fried ice cream was a great way to top off this evening. Really hard working & kind staff We will return during our Kona vacation.
