We went close to closing time but the staff were super nice and did not rush us out! So happy to have a Thai option that’s open on Mondays!! We got the spicy eggplant, yellow curry, Tom kha, and the fried bananas. Everything tasted amazing and our server Nina was the best!!

This might be the best Thai food in Denton. I don’t say that lightly. Having tried all the Thai offerings over the last decade and a half, I can say that there really isn’t bad Thai food in Denton. We’re lucky in that sense. That said, something about Royal Yum has really stood out. The flavors are amazing and complex. The service was amazing, and we got our food so quickly. The peanut sauce they make is absolutely delightful. Portions are hearty and the spice levels are great. I got. Pineapple curry with a level 4, and while I order a 5 at most restaurants, this had me reaching for water more frequently than usual. The mango sticky rice was also amazing, and that they deliver it in the shape of a heart is a cute touch. I will definitely be returning and will recommend this to others as well. Fantastic restaurant, can’t wait to try more of their menu. Oh! They also have vegan Thai iced coffee, and it’s a great dessert.

I like to order the Tom Yum fried rice or the basil fried rice at a level 3 spice and it’s the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The waiters are always super nice and my food seems to be ready pretty fast! I like that they have a rewards program and since I go here so often I have already racked up a ton of points. I love this place and I recommend it to anyone who likes Thai food!
