I had a great experience, the staff were polite, kind and attentive. The restaurant is well lit with a calm ambience. The restaurant is very clean. You can choose to sit at a table or lounge seats against the wall. This place is very spacious and easy to navigate. The food was just what I ordered and very delicious. Was going to meet family at Lumes on Harlem but their reviews were less than great so we searched in area. Glad we did, cause it was a delight. They have outdoor seating and serve mimosas. A co-worker and myself ordered delivery through door dash from here. I never had breakfast as bad as this. It was unseasoned. The hash brown’s were greasy. We asked for green peppers and onions in our hash brown’s, they were placed in our eggs instead. The only thing that was good was the bacon and toast, that’s probably because you do not have to season those things. I do not think I will give this place another chance.

I got the country fried steak and it was a frozen patty and didn’t taste good at all. The sausage gravy tasted horrible and didn’t have barely any sausage at all. The hashbrowns didn’t taste like potatoes and my husband said his meat lovers omelet was just ok. Sorry to say we probably won’t return.

2nd time eating here. I just can’t get past how awful the entire experience was. Dismissive server and we couldn’t finish our food; we embarrassingly declined take out containers (I’m super picky what I feed my dog). Flapjacks at 95th & Cicero, Goldenbear in Alsip – heck even Country House is better. I can’t imagine what type of home cooking the people who give this place good reviews are used to. Goodness.

Where do I start? Aside from delicious food and wonderful service, I need to give a HUGE shout out to owner , Frank! My stepmom lost her cane (very special and important) after visiting. Do u know Frank spent probably 30+ minutes w us on the phone checking video??? In the end, we recovered the cane after seeing my stepmom leave with it! Frank’s grace and genuine act of kindness is a rarity these days! Frank – you have our business FOREVER!
