Terrible and nasty the plantains were good. Oxtail had a lot of fat and it tasted gross. Not worth it 2 oxtail dinners were $59 . Waste of money.

Typical Jamaican cuisine. Has the best stew chicken in Albany. Used to like their ox tail, but the last time it was a bit hard unlike what it used to be. The fried chicken needs more seasoning, was a bit bland.

Came in here on a monday afternoon and was greeted by Donnette, she was so nice and sounded happy to be there i got a jerk chicken and rice and also a few chicken curry beef patties which were both great. I was more than satisfied with my experience.

I placed the order when I got home and opened my food up I seen that the order was wrong went back to the restaurant to get the correct order I was told they can’t exchange it or give me back my money 16.00 in trash. First of all this place is super expensive and the food isn’t that great. I ordered fish and got the wrong order so I went back. The little girl that works the front with the braids was very rude! Like if I’m patronizing you’re establishment you should be all smiles. This is why I don’t support black owned businesses. The service SUCKS! she was obviously bothered when I made a complaint about receiving the wrong order. She threw by food at me and I still said thank you. When she turned her back and didn’t respond I said thank you again and she goes “ yup” . NEVER AGAIN. I’d rather support non black businesses where I’m respected . With the bathroom that’s been out of order for 50 years oh and the food is HORRIBLE . Worst customer service ever!!!!

Very good oxtail spot. However I came here twice so far and meat texture was different, it was tougher to chew than the first time. I personally prefer it when it’s soft and tinder. But other wise this is a good spot for real homemade carribean food.
