Awesome, limited hours because people go for lunch only. Stood in line, socialized with strangers, enjoyed the history displayed on the walls, ordered and sat at a big round table with strangers. There are additional tables in the back but I chose to minimize my footprint because I was alone.

If i could give a seprate review for service I would give 5 stars. Despite being so busy with a line out the door at opening everyone was nice, welcoming and making sure everyone was taken care of. However food wise would not recommend the brisket to people who frequent kansas city style/high end bbq joints. Brisket was chopped and under seasoned. Despite being mostly covered in sauce, it was still quite dry. Ribs, hotlinks, and sides were however pretty good overall 6.5/10 for me.

5 stars, more like ten stars. Awesome, awesome barbecue. This place is one stop you are going to want to make. Don’t be fooled by your navigation; you’re not lost, it’s just off the beaten path. You had better not be much past eleven o’clock open time to get some turkey breast. Brisket is amazing, sausage is amazing, ribs are amazing, sauce is amazing, not too sweet or hot but perfect!

This is an absolute gem of a mom and pop shop. The whole place wreaks of hickory smoke, which is exactly what you want from a BBQ joint. If you’re in the area, don’t miss eating here.
