The food was really delicious! It was hot, fresh, very flavourful! The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated. The best part was the server, Lindsay! She was attentive, serviceable, and just about the sweetest part of the evening!

I try to give restaurants second and third chances but this visit was the last. Food is under seasoned, no flavor whatsoever. The last time I went the noodles tasted old and they don’t throw them on the griddle to give it that extra flavor. This time I opted for the fried rice instead and it didn’t taste like it had been fried…just plain rice. The vegetables taste like they’ve just been boiled in water…bland. Now the rolls are very good, best in town. Get your rolls and skip the rest. Also check the date on the pictures on the page. They’re from 2 or 3 years ago when the food was better. The food in my picture looks better than what it tasted like.

Always love the food, But ordered take out at 5:46 and it took an hour to get our food. We got 2 items and the restaurant wasn’t even full My husband also complained of the “mildew” smell when entering the restaurant.

Every time we’ve been to Ruan, we’ve tried different meals that they offer! We have NEVER been disappointed with any of their meals! The place is always clean and organized. The waitresses are very efficient and knowledgeable about their meals. We highly recommend this place to have an execellent dining experience!

The staff was so loveeeely, couldn’t ask for more sweet, hard work ladies. The sushi is chef kiss , so damn good, every bit fresh, and taste to a T. If you like sushi, as well at damn good price. So to Ruan’s Asian Bistro. Wish I asked the ladies there names though , they are won’t knowing. Even with the short time I spoke with them. Great job ladies. Can’t forget the sushi chef, beautiful food placement, just be that alone. Shown me they know there stuff.

The sushi was amazing! The rice noodles are a nice gluten free option. I had the house special rice noodles. Other dishes were black pepper chicken, hibachi chicken, udon soup, and miso soup. Service was excellent, we enjoyed everything and the prices were very fair. We missed our favorite server, Caroline. I would give a 5 star, however the Black Pepper chicken was a little too sweet. I surely would visit again when in the Lumberton area. Thank you very much.
