Been going to Ruben’s for about 8 years and they have the best barbacoa all meat with great flavor, knowing that prices have gone up but they do have specials combos from $26 and up. I will continue going to them because i love how clean there barbacoa is and i have never gotten over charged.

Every single time I have gone here the woman overcharges me. Out of habit I mentally add up my charges at any store or restaurant I go to including tax. This woman overcharges me by several dollars every single time I come here and I have to correct her and she apologizes. I have to believe she’s doing this to a lot of other people in the neighborhood so if you go here add your total up you’ll thank me for it!

We went and the barbacoa was cold. We asked for corn tortillas but we didn’t get any. I should’ve checked before I left but oh well..they have a sign that says the prices have increased because of covid..a 1lb of barbacoa was $27..I also got a big red but it seemed like alot considering other restaurants have charged me $22 for the same thing, but hot and recently.

Way too expensive small container of menudo is 8.99 I feel like they overcharged my entire meal. The food didn’t even taste good the barbacoa was dry. You’re better driving down the road and finding a different restaurant

It was PRICEY! Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, but my 1/2 lbs was no bigger than my small hand. $2.50 for 12 corn tortillas. Idk, I want to love it, but it was expensive.

This is the BEST barbacoa in town!!! It’s flavorful and not running with grease like some other places! The tortillas are so soft, the chicharrones are awesome and they give us a free big red with our order!

I’ve been many times, I always wondered why it was so expensive, the lady always OVER CHARGED EVERYONE, 6dls to 10 on any transaction ,people put atencion!! she is is stealing to everyone, When I ordered my bbq I asked for a note, she only gave the total,,never gave you how much is for evey item, so I went back I asked her why so much over charged,,she said the machine always over charged, that’s not right, never going back again, she is stealing everyone !!
