My friend suggested we eat here. Extremely modest place that you might easily pass on, but very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the the carne asada tacos and my friend ordered the quesobirria. Now, if you haven’t had a quesobirria… let me tell you about it. It’s cooked beef folded into a tortilla with melted cheese and served with a side of au jus for dipping. It’s like a braised beef taco married a quesadilla. Absolutely delicious! Don’t let the exterior of the restaurant fool you. There’s some seriously good food going on here. Provecho!

I was at an event that was catered by Rubens tacos. When I went for seconds the guy remembered my specific order out of the 250 people there! Not to mention they were the best tacos I’ve ever had.

Finally have found a taco spot that comes correct with their tacos! Simple menu and flavorful seasoned meats (we tried al pastor, asada, pollo, tripas, and quesabirria), hand made tortillas, great prices and superb service.
