This place is over priced garbage! ONE carne asada taco is $5! And the meat doesn’t even look grilled it looks boiled! the birria tacos had something disgusting in them like skin/fat, and the consomé was dirty water. Do not waste your time or money on this place. Imagine spending $22 on an order of birria tacos and one asada taco….smh!

Tonight I ordered food from Ruben’s for dinner, I got a rice bowl. It was a little on the pricey side costing over $10 But I would say the portion was worth it. In the bowl it had Rice, black beans, onions, and there was just a little bit of tomatoes and lettuce. There was very little cheese and there was supposed to be sour cream but I certainly didn’t taste any. If I only got the rice bowl I would have given this three stars but I also ordered churros which were incredible so overall I’m given this four stars.

I originally ordered on DoorDash for a pick up because I was a search of some consommé and they actually sold it individually. I had never been or heard of this placed before DoorDash. When I arrived I was a little off put by location in gas station. I went in to pick up order an ended up ordering more, the guy at the register was extremely nice and friendly and made me a shrimp Bierria taco. It was good for $5.50 but did not come with consommé but I had already ordered some. It was pretty busy an I had about a 10min wait. The consommé was pretty good, the house salsa is pretty spicy, the house white sauce was pretty bland. Tuesday they offer $1.99 tacos, I’d surly check them out again if I’m in the area.

Ordene 2 tacos de Asada y uno de chorizo. Siento que la comida Esta echa cosida no freida. El taco de chorizo es echo Como que fuera sopa. I have ate good quality tacos. But, this is not it. Flavored, yes. But, tasted better. The steak I feel like it is boiled not fried on a skillet. The chorizo is so mushy like it is baby food.
