Regrettably this merchant should remove the “fine dining” from their name. Beef tacos should never have ground beef unless you are at Taco Bell. What a shame. The rice and beans was delicious. The staff was fast and courteous always making sure to refill our drinks.

Think twice before eating here or getting take out. We spent about $40 here, and we got next to nothing. I PAID for a whole chicken quesadilla. What I GOT was a cheese one. When we opened up my wife’s container, what we PAID for was a Rubias plate special with Carne adovada. What she GOT was a splat of Carne and a splat of refried beans, and one pathetic little tortilla. We thought we would go to Rubios cause we didn’t want to drive any further. That was our mistake, and we shan’t be making it again. And we’ll warn others of what seems to be the kitchen’s inability to read a ticket. It came out fast, but I would rather wait for it to be right. Would they have been this shoddy had we been dine in? I hope not, but we’ll never know. It’s now worth it to me to drive further to get good Mexican. If I’m going to spend that much money, I’m going to have more than a splatter of food for $14. That’s just ridiculous.

We did not feel comfortable at all in this place. Our waitress was super sweet, but when first greeted by a young girl, she wasn’t welcoming at all n when she saw the next family she was really super sweet.. I’m not sure if it was just our brown skin, but it sure felt like it?? My stuffed soapilla was okay… a 6 out of 10. My husband ordered a taco salad, and he rated 7 out of 10. Sorry Rubias.. it just wasn’t great great.

Best enchilada sauce I have had in a very long time. Had both red and green. The green was very good, but the red was amazing. Wish they would open a Rubia’s in Phoenix. Great atmosphere as well.

attitude of our server was definitely not pleasant….I ordered a drink from the bar and when the bartender brought and asked us who’s it was I clearly stated it was mine and she literally put it in between my 18 year old son and a friend (who was of age) but I was sitting across the table from them! she should have walked around and placed it where I was sitting! not happy about that!

Went last weekend for dinner… it was the best yet. We both ordered a Mexican dish. When I tell you that it was the hottest (temperature) meal I’ve had at a restaurant in recent memory – all the way though, I really enjoyed it. The service was very good. Close to our hose since relocating to the area, I’m glad we gave it another chance. The Especial Margaritas were very good too.
