I would have given this place 5 stars but I ordered on the Rubio’s app at 8:30pm and I was given tracking info that originally stated my order should arrive about 9:08pm. Each time I checked the delivery time was delayed. By 9:14pm the DoorDasher contacted me and stated that he had been waiting there for 15-20 minutes and my order still wasn’t ready and if I wanted to cancel. I called at 9:26pm and was told that the order was just being finished. David C delivered our order at exactly 10pm. The Puerto Nuevo Burrito with Langostino Lobster was okay. We won’t be ordering that again. The Shrimp Trio taco plate was yummmmmmy! Although I won’t substitute for the keto cheese Tortilla again. The tortilla was the size of a mini taco. You can substitute with flour, corn or keto cheese tortilla. The Mexican Street Corn was yummy. The Guacamole was yummy. The selection of different salsas was great but I didn’t receive everything I ordered. I actually only received a few of the salsas. I didn’t receive the lime or lemon slices nor the Jalapeños & Carrots I ordered. Thanks to the DoorDasher David C for being patient and waiting for my order. I recommend this restaurant but maybe next time I’ll just pick it up.

Unfriendly service and a long wait in an empty restaurant to get the smallest, coldest tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t waste your time, just go to a taco truck for way cheaper and better tacos.

Rubio’s is easily one of my favorite places to eat. I no longer live near one, since I moved out of California, so I drove two hours out of my way to go here. It is still so good. The fish tacos are excellent and the salsa bar is amazing.

This is for my recent visit on 8/21/23 (Monday), I usually just come here for Taco Tuesdays, but wanted to come by and try their California Burrito with Steak for to go order. I was pretty disappointed. For the price of $11.99 plus tax and does come with a side small order of chips, the size and food portion in the burrito was really small. I wasn’t thrilled at all. For cheaper price and more amount of food, I hate to admit that Chipotle is a better alternative for burritos. I’ll just stick with Taco Tuesdays at Rubios!

I order a bowl to go and when I first went to the cash register with a glass coke, the guy behind the counter didn’t even ask or say anything before attempting to open. I quickly had to inform him it was to go. Once I ordered food, I was waiting to be called and notice the same person grab a container that looked like what I ordered from the kitchen, put it on the counter, then proceed to spend a few minutes on his phone. Ignored the food and just was on his phone. I then watched him put away his food, grab the container, add napkins and call my name.

As a former Rubios employee, the craving for the amazing fish tacos kick in every now and then and I try to go on Tuesdays, since it’s cheaper. I typically go to the Rancho Cordova location (never fails, friendly service, piping hot and delicious food, clean restaurant) but this one was closer. I am so so so dissatisfied, I was excited for my tacos and left with disappointment. The young man at the counter (Manuel) couldn’t even get my order correct but I didn’t bother to say anything because he already seemed irritated. My order was very straightforward too, yet I was overcharged and given food on my plate that I’m deathly allergic to. The entire restaurant was FILTHY, and the man at the counter was just standing around. I had to wipe down my own table (thank god I brought my babies diaper bag) and every single high chair was dirty too. Bathrooms were disgusting. Our food was cold as ice too. I will be going to the rancho location from now on, save yourself some time, money, and disappointment and go to the rancho location for better food and service.

I love Rubios and was so happy to be back eating their delicious food and fresh salsa. I had the California bowl (vegan with grilled vegetables and no white sauce) plus a side of chips and salsa. Everything was made perfect and was ready in a timely manner.
