Ordered a quesedilla that came with no damn cheese! The burger had a black burn mark on top from sitting under the heat lamp too long. And it was cold. For some reason, I had to wait 25 minutes to get my order. When I called twice, the phone just rang till it stopped. I should have known when I got there at 8:01pm and they were already cleaning the grill. They don’t close until 9pm. Worst part about it was I paid $30 for my order. Your was so good. I’ve been coming here for years. This is really embarrassing. Not returning. Unfortunate.

Just picked up food from here the pancakes were undercooked smells and taste like dough. The eggs were super dry and rubbery also smells like cooked fished or old oil. Make sure to check the pancakes before you eat because I found the raw ones underneath the cooked pancakes on a few of the orders I purchased.

So my entire life, (56 yrs old), for the first 10 years we lived in Oregon… Came back for all summers to visit my freaking AMAZING grandparents. We A ALWAYS HAD RUBIS TACOS. LIKE 2 TIMES A WEEK OR MORE. THEIR SHREDDED BEEF TACOS ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. This is a family run place. The father was so cool, then his son took over in the 90’s.after not going for many years we went, got the taxis as usual and we were SO DISSAPOINTED! THEY WERE TINY COMPARED TO THE STUFFED HUGE TACOS THEY WERE MOST OF MY LIFE. I decided to try them again after coming all the way from Oregon where I recently moved, to suprise my family in South O. C. WE WERE SO HAPPY OMG. ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME. THEY WERE REALLY BIG WITH LOTS OF CHEESE AND EXACTLY HOW THEY HAD ALWAYS BEEN. I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE TOTALLY OUT OF MY WAY WHEN DRIVING FROM OREGON TO GO TO RUBIS. THE MEMORIES ARE THE VERY BEST AND I THANK THE FAMILY WHO HAS PROVIDED CONSISTENTLY GREAT GOOD FOR SOOO LONG. YOU DO NOT FIND THIS KIND OF QUALITY THESE DAYS. THEY ROCK!!!

2023 Update: So I’ve gone back several times, and it’s only fair to provide an update. I am very pleased to write that the quality of food and customer service has greatly improved. The drive thru morning breakfast is a much better pleasant experience, customers are valued. Definitely get bang for the buck with food vs price.

Place looked empty from the outside, but once in there were quite a few people and after having their Steak sandwich i now know why. This Steak sandwich is way better than Other surrounding places nearby.
