Very good! We enjoyed eating here at this restaurant in New Orleans, and were excited about this location opening in Charlotte. At this visit, I tried the Creamy Vanilla Spiced Latte and the Bananas Foster French Toast. I enjoyed the French Toast but was disappointed with the latte, and irritated the cup wasn’t filled. My partner had the Three Little Pigs omelette, with a biscuit and tater tots (instead of grits). The omelette was delicious and we would likely have it again. Staff was friendly and prompt and we look forward to returning and trying more from the menu in the future.

The food was quite good. We had an omelet, grits and the southern breakfast. The fried green tomato was extremely delish.

Well my second visit wasn’t as good as the first. The food was still delicious and we were seated pretty quickly. However it took 10 to 15 minutes for someone to come to the table for our drink orders. I noticed people seated after us had their orders taken much faster than us. When my coffee came it was lukewarm at best so I asked for a fresh cup of coffee. I waited and waited but it didn’t come so I found the waitress and asked. She was brewing fresh coffee (which I completely understand but please come tell me). The coffee came as I was finishing my meal and it was terrible. As we were paying we were told there was a large party in the back. I know that’s lots to deal with but just communicate that to your other customers.

I barely know what to say because I hate leaving bad reviews. Perhaps their other food is great but these brioche style French toasts are… aweful. I got the banana fosters to go so everything was packed separately. So I got to see and taste how not French this toast was. And the banana sauce is literally just melted butter and bananas! So much butter! And it doesn’t even taste good, literally just like unsalted, oily butter. Yay for the extra syrup! It save the day. The turkey patties are cold. My office is only across the light from this place and they handed the bag to me directly from the kitchen so there was no sitting around… They were just cold. And I feel awful because the girl at the bar might be going through something personally or maybe with the job… but she made the whole experience very gloomy atmosphere is a plus for a brunch get together though. (Trying to stay positive and stretching for two stars)

My sister and I decided to meet up for brunch and stumbled across this restaurant online. We signed up online, and I arrived before her, so they dont seat you down until your whole party has arrived, so I did have to wait a while until she arrived. There were a lot of people waiting outside, so there was a bit of a wait if you didn’t sign up online. I think at one point the wait time was an hour and a half. The employees were all nice and welcoming. I ordered the fried chicken egg Benedict with a side of grits, and my sister ordered the shrimp egg Benedict. The grits were very tasty, and I enjoyed them. Now the chicken egg Benedict was delicious, but the only thing was that I did find the chicken to be somewhat harder than I would expect chicken to be, and it was a but dry BUT since it did come with a poached egg, the yolk did help the chicken be a little more softer and have juicier. Their peach Bellini was very tasteful and refreshing on this hot day, and my sisters mimosa was also very delicious. Definitely recommend this location and returning.

I came on a Thursday around 12:30 so there wasn’t a wait. I ordered the fried green tomatoes (minus the bacon jam). Really good! Then I had an omelette with chicken sausage, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss. This comes with a biscuit and a side of grits 5/5! There are other side options as well. Honestly, this will be one of my favorite breakfast spots

Tried Ruby’s for the 1st time on Sunday morning after my brother suggested it. Highly recommend placing yourself on the waitlist online. Arrived and checked in with the hostess at 10:01 and was seated a little after 11:00. The place was busy and had a two hour wait. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly with music playing in the background. Our server was Amber and she was good. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and while we’ve had better, they were still pretty delicious, but were on the warm side as though they sat in the window for a bit. The hubs ordered the Pineapple Upside Down pancakes and were by far some of the best pancakes I’ve ever tried. They didn’t even need syrup! I had the classic French Toast and they weren’t great. Honestly just brioche bread dipped in egg and milk. There wasn’t anything spectacular about them. I was actually disappointed. Both pancakes and French toast came with bacon which my hubby substituted for chicken sausage and he added on a side of eggs. He enjoyed his entire meal. The bacon was delicious as well. We ordered an omelette to go for my son and I was highly glad that a side and biscuit came with the meal. Our entire meal with drinks came our to be $63. While a little pricy, I understand b/c of inflation. There is ample parking for this location. I will definitely be back as I want to order the Pineapple upside down pancakes!

I was so excited to try this place and I wish I never did. I ordered the summer special, berry stuffed french toast. First of all, the strawberry on top of it was moldy. There was nothing berry about it, it was strawberry cream cheese in between 2 pieces of sandwich bread. Yum (not). It had absolutely no flavor. I took one bite of it and just ate the bacon that came on the side. The waitress came by and jokingly made a comment about being full already and offered a box. I should have sent it back, but we paid, left, and ate when I got home. I would never recommend this place to anyone and it’s definitely not worth the price. Don’t waste your money. I will not be back.

Nice early Wednesday morning and the biscuit and gravy was excellent. Shrimp and grits rates among the best ever. Fried green tomatoes appetizer was perfect. Bright and cheerful atmosphere. Good service. Thank you for the experience!
