Oh my gosh this place is the place to get a good burger and milk shake. The atmosphere brings you back to the 50’s from the waiters uniforms to the inside of the restaurant. Service was excellent and quick not to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant. Ruby’s Diner most definitely deserves all 5

We picked this place because it had gluten free options. I have always loved the atmosphere there. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, no cheese- I told the waiter that I have a dairy allergy, and he said ok, then ordered a gluten free bun, he told me they don’t have any, and I pointed to the menu and asked if they were out or don’t carry it and he said they don’t have any. Food arrived and after cutting into my protein style hamburger, I saw that there was Swiss cheese melted all over the bottom. My French fries were cold and I found a disgusting hair in my hamburger that I cut apart. my biggest complaint was their lack of care for my allergy which makes me throw up within 5 minutes of eating any milk or cheese! They did comp my meal but we were very disappointed and will not be going back to that Ruby’s ever again.

Uncertain why there are good reviews here. The burger I ordered was bland , dry and overcooked. Service was par at best. And why is there mariachi music playing at a 50’s diner? The kitchen plays there own music but you can faintly here the 50’s channel in ther restroom. Unacceptable. It appears this place changed ownership because it’s gone downhill big time.
