Let me start off, as a somewhat self proclaimed pizza snob… The pizza here is stellar. The Detroit style is the best in the area. The sauce is balanced with just the right amount of spiciness, without being too much. The cheese is excellent. By both taste and texture you can tell its a much higher quality than the average pizza cheese. The crust has a nice crispy snap to the bottom which is difficult to achieve. Perfect in every way. It isy new favorite pizza spot. We plan to make many return trips!

Absolutely incredible service! I brought all four of my kids here for lunch on a Saturday. Our server (Andrew I think) was very prompt, and very patient with us. The pizza was amazing, and we will definitely be going back time and time again!

The restaurant is really nice and clean. Staff is friendly and their pizza style options were explained to us really well. Most importantly, the pizza was DELICIOUS! We will definitely return when in the area. Bonus points for the 90s music playing.

Best pizza in Cedar Rapids. I’ve literally tried every pizza place that is supposedly is the best in the city. This is the best since Crankys Hanks left. Chicago style is great and so is the New York style. Detroit is good too with my only let down is it doesn’t have the extra thin layer of dough between the meat and sauce like I’ve had at some pizzerias in Detroit. Bring an appetite you’ll need it.

My first visit I was so excited to get a good Chicago style pizza….I’d shared a pizza with a friend a few months ago and it was great…however, my first order my pizza wad way overdone…I’d call it burned and I don’t like the take of burnt crust…it’s a no go for me. I tried again and got a carry out order only to find what when I got home my sauce was all over the box and my pizza hadn’t even been cut into slices. 🙁

I ordered a Chicago deep dish to go. The flavor was good, but there was way to much sauce on top. I couldn’t taste my toppings because of heavy sauce. Also, the pizza was not sliced which I understand, but no utensils we’re given so it made it challenging when I go back to my hotel room.

Pizza was amazing, better than Need Pizza easily. I loved the atmosphere, staff was friendly, wait time was great, pricing was reasonable. My wife and I loved this place and will be coming back again for sure, highly recommend trying them out!

Do you want a good deep dish pizza, but want to pass on the carbs? Ruby’s offers a Detroit pizza with the same dough crust and this amazing cheesy layer. It’s not as deep, but has the same style with the pizza sauce on top.

Their pizza is fabulous however their employees and their work ethic is terrible. I will no longer be ordering pizza from this pizza place and it’s really sad because we ordered once a week but after several weeks of terrible customer service I will no longer be visiting them. If I could give their employees negative stars I would.

Pretty good pizza the NY style is good. This is the only place in cedar rapids that servers pizza by the slice the only thing is that they normally don’t have very many options for by the slice but just get the small pizza if your hungry there not very hungry but the pizzas pretty good and the staff if friendly.
