The sandwiches are amazing. I have had the steak and the chicken fried steak sandwich both are a must try. The breakfast burrito are perfect for me. I do construction and they keep me full until lunch.

Rudy always takes care of his customers to a level I’ve never encountered at any restaurant of any kind. It’s been an absolute blessing to have come across his bistro. The food is always fresh with that homemade feeling. I have never been disappointed. He offers an alternative to the dry menus and restaurants you run into in town. The man loves his country, loves his family and loves what he does. You will not be disappointed. I have a deep appreciation for people who takes pride in the what they do. And it’s made me a customer for life. My only regret is that I only have one lunch in a day.

Kind of hidden and a bit hard to find. Totally worth the hunt. Rudy makes the absolute best desserts I’ve ever had. Ive tried many of his main dishes and with each one he out does himself. He is a man who cooks to please and please he does. If you haven’t you owe it to yourself to give him a try. He closes a bit early (3:00 pm) so if your ordering for dinner call and pick it up ahead of time. It will still be delicious no matter what time you eat. Yumm

You will not be disappointed with anything that Rudy makes for you here. If it wasn’t enough that the food is fresh, delicious, made in house, fast and plentiful, Rudy himself is the real deal. I went there to try the food but Rudy and his personality draw us back regularly .(and yes, the food is awesome too!)This place is tucked away in the corner of the Encore Glass building. Guess where I’m going for lunch today 🙂

Tried the cheeseburger here, perfectly cooked with basic condiments and a small side, quite delicious. This place is an amazing value, as good as some of the best in Salem but priced about a third less. The other side of the story is Rudy himself, friendly with plenty of stories while also managing the deli solo.

This is the first time I ordered from there. Was a large order with a few salads and a sandwich. Rudy threw in some cookies and bread for all 4 orders. Really got my monies worth plus a nice chat from rudy. Great place, please support him during this COVID 19 shutdown stuff. All the food was also tasty!
