I was craving a California burrito and decided to stop in at Rudy’s based on their good reviews. I ordered the grilled shrimp burrito to-go. Unfortunately it was only OK. In addition to the grilled shrimp, it had chopped cabbage. I prefer shredded cabbage. It also had white rice and shredded cheese. Non of the ingredients had any distinctive flavor. And it was missing the main ingredient: beans. I drowned it in salsa, as I typically do, but that did not improve it much. If I go back, I will order something else.

Absolutely wonderful chicken mole, rice and frijoles with corn tortillas and Pacifico beer. Great little food place, does a rousing take out service. We had lunch on their road side patio, really cool. Great people running the restaurant and taking orders. Was half way through before remembering the picture….

I thought Taco Bell forgot who they were by trying charge quadruple for what they are worth. Rudy’s is definitely giving them a run for there money in the Taco shop world. Your not the only $13 Carne asada burrito in town but so far, you offer the least value of this trending insanity. Very basic and small in comparison to other, over optimisticly priced, carne asada burritos. My first try at every “taco shop” is a carne asada burrito since I feel it quite a good guage of overall quality of the rest of the menu. Basically Ruby’s got $13 out of me as I walk away feeling shafted.

Loved it! Couldn’t find our old favorite taco stop and then found a new one, Rudy’s! The Al Pastor, 3 for $5 is legit!!! Great flavor on the meat. Fish tacos are excellent as was the fish burrito, fried or grilled. Great selection of fresh salsas, nothing real spicy but great taste and big variety to choose from. Nice drink selection, excellent/friendly staff. Also picked up some mole and chips to take home, they also have good tortillas you can pick up for home cooking. Everything tasted fresh, pigged out but did not feel bloated or gross after. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a find! Some of the best tacos and burritos you can have! This place has great michaelas, phenomenal homemade tortillas, cool beer selection and great breakfast burritos. They also have a great salsa bar as well. Finally, the outdoor seating adds to how great this place is! I would highly recommend this place.

Let me put it this way, whenever I’m anywhere in the area, I hit up old Rudy’s. I know every Taco shop has a go to food item, but this one is always consistent. Finding good carne asada is almost a thing of the past. But they are on it every time, it’s always the same and very flavorful, without being a bunch of grizzly grey meat. Me and my friends have never been disappointed. Give it a shot, you won’t be either.

Solid tacos! Chicken rolled tacos were really yummy though maybe a tiny bit dry, but sort of expected with chicken. Carne asada, al pastor and carnitas were solid. Fish taco was delicious.
