Last evening I called and ordered a pizza, which was good, the girl that took the order was nice also. When I went in to pick up the pizza I saw they has potato salad and desserts. I used to get their potato salad because it tasted like it was made with Hellmanns, not like ones in stores. They must have someone else make it, it didn’t tast the same. Make your own it is $7.99 a pound. I bought a slice of cake for $5.99, no wonder they had a lot to choose from, I hope it’s fresh. It’s my fault I decided to spend 14 + dollars. Prices are up everywhere for everyone, I hope they go down. I know now to think twice if I go back there.

I grew up eating ruggieros and it was the best of the best I’ve had it from time to time over the years when I’m in the area and it’s gone completely down hill not the same, people aren’t nice and who puts food on top of food?? They literally throw slices and knots and stuff on top of each other and it destroys the taste makes cheese fall off the pizza and just terrible, plus the foods never hot the either don’t warm it up or when they do they take it out wayyyyy to quick. Hate to say it but I think Im officially convinced it’s time to move on nothing stays the same.

Let me start by saying I hate leaving negative reviews but in this case I feel I have to. We had not gone to Ruggierios since before COVID but needed to get a pizza last Wednesday and it was on our way. I called to order and the guy was not friendly at all, very borderline rude. I did not have a good feeling when I hung up the phone but thought “everyone has a bad day sometimes “. Then the following Saturday we were having guests and decided to order from there again because the pizza was really good a few days prior. AGAIN the same rude guy answers the phone treating me the same way , another bad day???? I’m sorry, you can have good food but if the service sucks then I’m not coming back. I should never call a place of business and feel the way I felt, now twice!

I once placed a simple 8 cut cheese and 10 wing order and they told me it would arrive in one hour. I called them back after 2 hours of waiting and they told me they lost the order and if I still wanted them to make it. Besides that time, every other time I order them there is something wrong. They forgot something or they put the wrong toppings on. It’s becoming a real problem. The food itself is fine but low review for service.

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I would look forward to going every year for my birthday dinner. Lately the food has been so cheap and honestly not good at all. They COMPLETELY changed their boneless wings. They used to be actual pieces of chicken and now they’re weird nugget balls containing little to absolutely NO meat!! They use a new Buffalo sauce too. Not impressed. I don’t know if they got lazy or are being cheap with the economy but in my opinion you don’t compromise on food quality because you will lose customers.

Ordered a sausage pizza and an Italian mix sub. Pizza was good but the sub roll was way under cooked, and somewhat gooey. The meat in the sub was top notch but roll was about 5 minutes under baked. Still love these guys.

We order from Ruggerios at least once a week. Spending around $60.00 each time. I always ask for extra Russian dressing on the side, of all the times we have ordered from there I may have gotten the extra dressing once. Very disappointing to know they read the note (because I didn’t get tomatoes) but can’t send anything extra. After January 1st we won’t be ordering from there anymore anyways. They charge the delivery through MEALEO but the restaurant delivers the food, and after the 1st they will be adding an extra 3.5% charge to credit card orders. On top of the ridiculous fees they are adding more.

Had a gathering so I decided to give this place a shot. We got a 24 cheese and large boneless wings, nothing special. The 24 is two 12’s, wasn’t bad but I’d place them middle of the pack or bottom half fir in the capital district. The boneless wings on the other hand were terrible and they are identical to Tyson anytizers which are gross. They are definitely bottom tier for boneless wings. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
